At last the night came...

My plans to shoot (rather an attempt) star trails is atleast 2 years old.... and I got a shutter lock & release from Taipei 6 moths back.. and for last six months every night I used to to spend hours waiting for the sky to clear up.. unfortunately the rain gods never gave me a break.. atlast the night came day-b4-y'day..

This image is a combination of 120 pictures, 30 seconds each, continuously shot for an hour at ISO 400 and f7.1.. the software used is a freeware from www.startrails.de

Hope you enjoyed my first attempt in capturing star trails.. the light on the trees are from a nearby street light.. and the shoot was done from the terrace of my home.. though I wanted to shoot north, with pole star.. the street lights played spoilt.. this is facing north-west.. next plan will be surely with north pole star..

Bodh Gaya, India - Jul 9, 2015. Interior of Royal Bhutanese Monastery in Bodhgaya, India. Bodh Gaya is a religious site and place of pilgrimage associated with many temples in Bihar.

My husband is suprised of all the things I can do in my dreams, including have visits from people who have passed on, experience being someone I've never met before but know of, and lucid dreaming. The good thing about lucid dreaming is that when you end up in a really bad nightmare you can decide, while still asleep and dreaming, that you're going to end the nightmare. If you're lost in a maze of twisted hallways you can add your own door and let yourself out. Dreaming is always an adventure.

Taken with a Fisher Price 110 camera. I think this was somewhere in Irwin County, GA.

Third eye, also know as Polyocularism or Oculus Erraticae. 65-year old man with a supernumerary photoreceptive eye positioned in the palm of his right hand. The visual acuity of the third eye measured 20/20 on the Snellen Chart test and the ocular motility proved unimpaired by the palmar muscles. The man was considered to have clarivoyant abilities and regarded as a gyananakashu or "enlighted" by the local hindu community.

A little classier than most, since it was for my dear roommate.

detail from a thangka that my sister brought back from nepal some 30 years ago. i know nothing of buddhist lore, but based on the descriptions in wikipedia i would guess this is green tara, a buddhist goddess of hindu origins.
