Okay, not *really* a pic of a little girl from a third-world country, but this kinda has that aesthetic, yeah?

Does your closet hold an art collection? Tonight, celebrate one of the primo printing traditions of our time--T-shirts! Toast the winner of the MIA's online Third Thursday T-shirt design competition. Show up in your coolest, funniest, most eye-popping or jaw-dropping tee, or bring your own blank shirt to print and decorate a masterpiece tee here. Rock out to legendary musician Grant Hart, or check in with Chloe Piene, who'll talk about her eye for the sensual line in her latest lithographs and etchings.

The small portion above the head makes you feel there is a third eye positioned right there...

Before this carriage was introduced, third class passengers travelling overnight had to sleep sitting upright in their ordinary seats. The ticket price for a bunk on this service included a rug and pillow to use during the journey.

...Brick the Third has arrived, and it is a post-war Argus C3 that was manufactured in 1956.
It is in absolutely killer condition!
All of the metal - the dials and the chrome trim accents - is clean, shiny, and rust-free. The leatherette looks fantastic. The lens is scratch- and fungus-free. Everything turns easily and clicks and springs back just like it's supposed to.
The only thing that isn't perfectly perfect about this Brick is that the shutter sticks open when the film speed dial is set to "10."
The view windows need a wee bit of cleaning, but that's about it. The thing looks fantastic! I think I'm gonna keep this one and sell or trade the other two.
The light meter works, I just don't know how to use it. Yet. (It has a complicated rotating dial thing on the back, looks like a sliderule. Need to find a manual.)
The flash attachment merely needs a couple of D batteries; very little-to-no corrosion. And it came with three flash bulbs! (Can't wait to pop those!)
Not shown is the leather case, which is in excellent condition for its age. I'm considering finding some leather conditioner for it, even though it's the cheapest goddamned crappy leather you've ever seen and trying to care for it will probably just make it disintegrate.
The whole shebang came in the camera's original box, which is not the best example of packaging design you ever saw, and is basically an old box.
In the 1960s, Geneva became one of the first parts of Switzerland in which the rights movements achieved a certain measure of success. It was the third canton to grant women's suffrage on the cantonal and communal levels.
Me and DA went to see The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights at Third Man Records. They have a cool old photo booth.

The Shadow knows?
Life is a balance between light and shadow, bad and good, yin and yang, peanut butter and jelly. The important word here is, of course, balance. Without, we'd be constantly falling on our faces, and I'm fairly sure we all do that often enough already. Without, we'd have no trapeze artists, no artists at all, no love, and no hope.

Three aunt's hair became white, and teeth How many pieces make up a good, though traces of the years has been imprinted in their face, but she was our family's care and love is endless
The intention of this image was to capture me, posing in the bathtub. For this image, I also made use of the Rule of Thirds by aligning myself up with the lower right intersection, drawing attention to my face. This one was alright, and I had to put all of the balls back after I got out! I made some adjustments like highlight and exposure, as well as some artistic choices like a darker and warmer feel.
