A couple of years ago, we were returning home from a trip to western Canada via the Icefields Parkway. We hoped to see the spectacular views as advertised but much of the road at the higher elevations had heavy snow and was obscured by cloud or fog. Lot's of wishful thinking about catching a break actually paid off, as it did here!

Kodak TMAX 400 Pro 120 film (expired in 1997 & kept refrigerated) rated at 200 ASA (in hindsight maybe I should have chosen 100, though some shots were exposed perfectly).

Developed and scanned at Snappy Snaps Highbury and Islington store as I don't have the chemicals and heat control (Though I wish that I had used one of the many darkrooms available in London). Spots and dust removed in Lightroom, though I've kept the water marks.

It was recently suggested to me by someone I care deeply about that I was a "linear thinker." Recognizing, of course, that this represented her opinion of reality and would have no bearing on my own, and, further, having no idea what was meant by the label, I decided to see if there was any truth to this "accusation."

The results of my test, here visually presented, show that perhaps she was on to something, tho I'm still not certain exactly what she meant.

Above, you see me, hands to head, projecting as best I can my thought patterns.

One of the requests of my sister to take a picture of her new tattoo. A heart that symbolises the love she has for her siblings. It was easy in this case as I only needed to use a narrow DOF, easily achievable using my 35mm F1.8. Then edited in lightroom 2015 and added some mate results with some additional noise. I hope you like it and that it transmits what the picture is meant for.

Thank you all for your appreciation.

We had a beautiful sunny day today but too icy to walk in some parts of Toronto.

Thank you all for your visit, faves and kind comments. Always greatly appreciated.
