Many who follow me here know this woman as well, but just in case you don't, let me tell you about her.
Tina is an Artist. She teaches art, she lives and breathes art, she creates art. She inspires. She is a giver.
There is a project called "100 Possibilities" where the aim is to take one object (whatever you want it to be) and photograph it in 100 different ways. I've seen some amazing work come from this challenge. Tina, being the artist that she is, began with a work of art: a handmade ceramic bowl (made by a dear friend of hers). She traveled with that bowl all over the country. She put all sorts of things in the bowl, and placed the bowl on top of all sorts of other things. She was up to day 92 when it happened--the bowl broke.
And then the little seed of a miracle began to germinate. Lessons learned and then transformed.
Tina came up with the most beautiful idea...and she created yet more art. Pendants of the pieces of the bowl, now jewelry for the cost of making a donation to an organization to feed the hungry.
Is that not one of the most beautiful works of art you've ever seen?
Tribute to Steve Jobs.
I always liked his innovative products, pity I could not afford them.
His creation was my first computer at work.

Image was used in advertising campaign for the Apple Powerbook G3. A classic in my opinion.
Does anyone know more about this image or who photographed it?
* Update July 2009. This photo is by Carl Roessler ( www.divexprt.com/ )
Found that through Tony Wu blog: www.tonywublog.com/20090713/rant-rave-respect.html
A spider on the screen door, using the 35 f/1.8 normally, and reversed as a macro. Arachnophobes beware.
I created this image as a response to the death of Steve Jobs. The text is taken from the famous Think Different ad campaign launched by Apple shortly after Jobs returned to the company.
Sized as a 1920x1080 wallpaper.
After hearing so much about the antenna problem I went to the next shop in the city with perfect coverage and tested it myself. And what can i say: it really worked. Just by touching "The-One-Which-Must-Not-be-Touched" it lost three bars in twenty seconds. After releasing my "touch of death" it went back to normal (all bars).
While going home (I also did other stuff) I thought about this antennagate. And since I am someone who loves to reduce everything to its meaningful core (see my movie posters) I had the idea of the poster above. My goal was, to imitate the feel of the slick Apple look, while adding a small, elegant punch to it.
Originally I planned to use a white background but after seeing the black version on the Apple site I decided to imitate that look.
Hope you like it and sorry if someone had the same idea already.

j'ai décidé de changer mon point de vue. Mon angle de vision.
Il était grand temps de faire un nettoyage d'automne...
Il y a du renouveau et le renouveau amène forcément quelque chose de nouveau.
Here's the back wall with the dark orange (or if you prefer, "Harvest Sun") against the green... not too damn bad if I do say so myself! And Alfred seems to like it, so it's got to be good.
Dialogue, échange entre un homme nu et une femme vêtue. De quoi parlent-ils? Que se disent-ils? A quoi pensent-ils?
Et si l'un disait à l'autre "Think different"? Lequel des deux prononcerait ces mots?
English version :
Dialogue, exchange between a naked man and a dressed woman. What are they talking about? What would they say? What do they think?
And if one said to the other: "Think different"? Which one would be speaking these words?
