One of the things I've been meaning to photo for a very long time is this particular item: DX Thunder Gridman giftset. From the Denkou Chojin Gridman series, source material for Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, the set is made up of the components for God Zenon (God Tank, Twin Driller, Thunder Jet) as well as Gridman himself.
The toys generally made it to North America intact, with the biggest omission being the electronics... not that it mattered because mine were dead to begin with.
Being mid 90's figures, functionally these are all bricks, with minimal useful articulation. But time had advanced enough that at least they were interesting looking bricks with lots of chrome.. something you're not seeing much of these days.
Combination into Thunder Gridman involves snapping on shoulder pieces that, over time, will rub the paint off your Gridman figure. As far as I'm aware, there's no way to avoid it.
I took this photo about three years ago and recently found it and edited it. This is the result. Yeah..
