I'm working on an anthology of classic, epic poetry, which begins with selections from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey! :) I've replaced the Roman names with the Greek names: "RAGE, Sing, O goddess, the rage of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Greeks. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades, and many a hero did it yield a prey to dogs and vultures, for so were the counsels of Zeus fulfilled from the day on which the son of Atreus, king of men, and great Achilles, first fell out with one another."

The Sony ILCE7R A7r rocks! New Sony A7R Test Photos (with Sony HVL-F60M External Flash) of Tall, Thin, Fit Bikini Swimsuit Model Goddess! Long legs and then some! Shot with the Carl Zeiss Sony Sonnar T* FE 35mm f/2.8 ZA Lens finished in Lightroom 5.3 ! Was using the B+W 49mm Kaesemann Circular Polarizer MRC Filter on partly cloudy day with some intermittent sun, but mostly cloudy. Check out the low glare off the rocks and water and dramatic, polarizwer-enhanced sky! Super sharp images and crystal-clear pictures!
Was testing the Sony HVL-F60M External Flash on the Sony A7r. You can see it going off in some of the photos (check the exif if in doubt)--worked great, but it overheated a bit sooner than my Nikon flash on the D800E. But it's all good!

Vintage German doll shoes worn by my three Krahmer sisters. From left to right:
Red oilcloth shoes with thin card soles and original thread laces. Worn with socks made from old cotton underwear.
Original Krahmer buckled oilcloth shoes with interesting double card soles with stitched edges; one shoe had lost this double sole so I made a new one and embroidered around the edges. It looks a little different from the machine-stitched original, but isn't terribly obvious unless you look very closely. The shoes have a third (!) rubber sole as well. They are worn with original Krahmer socks which were once pale pink; the colour is still visible where they have been protected from the light by the shoes.
Black oilcloth "T-strap" shoes with the original laces which are embellished with red wooden beads. They have card soles with little card heels, and are worn with ribbed stockings made from a very old ladies' vest.
