Due to COVID, my favorite movie theater shifted to a pop-up drive-in in a parking lot. It's helped me get through the summer months. This was the inaugural screening, They Live.

Coming to the house, I noticed unusual blue mushrooms! I had to put the packages and take some shots ... After an hour I returned to them with a macro lens installed - that's what happened!

I have a little John Carpenter vibe going on at the moment. This has gotta be one of my favourite quotes.
Its abit bit rough and was done in about 5mins, but I had to get it off my chest.
New York City by night :) The inspiration for this came from the movie "They Live", by John Carpenter, a B-movie of the 80's. In this movie the protagonist finds a pair of sunglasses that permits you to see reality as it is, a world dominated by robots (who all work in banks) who are brainwashing the humans to use them as slaves. When using these magic sunglasses to look at the ads on the street, they all read obey, conform, obey, conform, obey, conform, obey conform...
