This thermometer is great in winter, but it gets overheated in the summer. When the sun hits it, it goes over 100'F.

Our Daily Challenge 19-25 July :Cannot Do It

I can't do anything at these temperatures.

This was on 19th July 16.

The outside reading is from the North side of the house in the shade. Goodness knows what it was in the sun!

My ideal temperatures are 20-23 C max.

I used to like it quite hot, but not any more.

It was almost ok under the big brolly in the breeze but that blew over in a gust of hot air.

An unusual POV of an unusual thermometer!

I've had this thermometer for a few decades. i used to keep it in my car to know if I should feel hot or cold. Now, my eleven year old car has its own digital thermometer. So this one sits on a shelf in my office.

Original thermometer with the Celsius scale. Anders Cesius himself has probably written the numbers on this one. 0 is the boiling point and 100 is the freezing point. The Cesius scale was later was changed to its modern standard by other scientists around 1745.

I took a picture of this thermometer to send to the other science teacher because I wanted to see if they had any that were a little better. Luckily I was able to borrow some nicer thermometers.
