The temperature in our porch.

The hottest day of the year at Badwater (unofficial thermometers were 132 F 55.5c). The dash on the Jeep maxed at 130 and stayed there for 3 hours! We need Jeep to give us a real world thermometer!

This is typically the temp now that Winter is loosing it's grip here.

I took the advice of some of the comments below and re-cropped this. I replaced it with the new version. The blur came from shooting through extremely thick glass. Thanks again for all the comments and advice.

Thermometer warm

These days the cops use breathalysers. Probably just as accurate though.

CHECKING IN — A feelings thermometer helps children struggling with anxiety or other emotions to identify their feelings and describe how they manifest physically. Brittney Schrick, extension assistant professor and family life specialist for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, uses this visual aid in extension programming.

Simple macro of a thermometer I stole somewhere on a lonesome day, which is now broke for the record.

Note that "summer heat" is 76 degrees F!

Today I could not go out with my bicycle, than I used my camera.

This is attached to my house. I don't know how long it has been here, but obviously a while. Still acurate though!

Dad had the hardest time keeping the needle in the green once he put the turkey in, but it turned out alright.

The World's Tallest Thermometer at Baker, California. I photoshopped it a bit to enhance the grain. Note: It's sunset, but still 101 degrees Farenheit. Baker's a pretty warm place...

Evening temperature. Not quite what we're used to around here.

Strangers' Hall, Norwich

Strangers' Hall is a compact and lovely museum depicting comfortable urban living in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, with many original artifacts.

It is not perhaps as exciting and interesting as the nearby Bridewell museum, or anywhere near as good as the similarly themed Christchurch Mansion Museum in Ipswich (to which, incidentally, admission is free - it isn't to Stranger's Hall). But on the other hand the Castle Museum is better than any museum in Ipswich.

The best thing about the museum is the intimacy - it is possible to get very close to tiny details. Oh, and the staff are nice, too.
