Unite in Solidarit with the Indefinite Hun er Strike of the PHNH Students.
The stray dogs on the campus nave oocome a security threat to the students of this campus in general and the PHIVH students in particular. Recently a senior female student from Godavari Hostel was.-brutally attacked and inJured by a stray dog. This incident is not an isolate.d event of viOlent animal betlavior towardS adilferently-abied student. The PHIVH students nave been living under the threat of being attaCI<ed by stray dogs On tneir way from the hostel to the libral'f. on the dhabas. bus stops and in all the places outside the~ rooms for years now. In the light of tnis situation, the PHIVH students had appealed to the VC at thebeginning of this week to ensure some concrete steps so that no more studeniS on this campus are hurt by the dogs. Alter five days of waiting, the administration did not care to respond to this appeal of the students, let alone taking any steps. As a last resort. the students have launched an indefinite hunger strike making the following important deri1ands to the .
eomplete relocation of dogs from the campus and regularization of the MCO van for this _p_UrpOSe. The relocatton_ must haPPll" in the .
