My first project ~ wool to finish!
So much fun!
Finished the mitts while knitting outside in some much needed sun.

i really did not have a clue what i wanted to shoot for todays 365. the one "thing" that really called to me was a redhead at the train station today. but i was standing in a huge crowd of people and i couldn't have done it in a "sneaky" way. so i didn't. then i had one thought on the way home (well i had more than one thought BUT this one in particular was about photography). but when i got home i thought of this necklace of hearts that i got years ago and i wondered if i could capture it in a way that i liked. i think i took at least a jillion shots and i am using one of the first ones. go figure.
ok, so it is february and while i didn't really set out to have a heart shot for the whole month, here we are on the fourth of february and all i have shot is hearts! well, the heart wants what the heart wants, right? i hope everyone has a great evening! big smiles to you all!

This image is one of many photos shot and heavily processed a couple of years ago to help communicate the sweat and effort and grit and determination... the focused mindset required to achieve personal fitness goals. The concept was to contrast intentional inward focus with the lack of visual detail and distraction on the outside. Muted color tones help direct the eye to the experience and expression of concentrated effort. That was what drove the shoot from my perspective. A selection of these images originally appeared on a client's website, which I also had the privilege to design.
While I love the extremely shallow depth of field and overall look and feel of the campaign... I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea. But it was quite the learning experience for me photographically... AND in post-processing.
How about you... have you ever stepped out of – maybe even way out of your usual photographic comfort zone? If not, why not? Never... stop... learning...

I liked this one the most of the few i took with the saran wrap. But i'll put the side by side in comments. Maybe to upload later.
Holding your breath while in saran wrap is crazy hard.
I would suggest doing it while someone else is home. In case you start suffocating.
I started with one idea today and came out with nothing like it.
Batik by cap (pronounced "chop") or blok (block)
is a rapidly vanishing craft.
It is produced entirely by hand in small family-owned "factories"
in the state of Terengganu on the east coast of Malaysia.
Both the rapid industrialization of the 90s and economic crisis
at the end of that decade have contributed
to the decline in batik production.
Silk-screen printing of batik motifs is faster and cheaper
and it is considered more progressive.

Developed in Hereford, Texas panhandle by the armenian Dr Puzant Torigian, this innovative product failed to catch on. But unperturbed, the Doctor has resurfaced with his Bravo Smokes Inc on the East Coast, and has opened a manufacturing facility at Wheeling, West Virginia to relaunch his lettuce leaf based cigarettes which aim to ween people off addictive nicotine . The product was short lived in the 1970s as it was too far ahead of its time and their were confessed problems with aroma! Would love to smell them!

Shrimp paste or 'belacan' as it is called in Malaysia language,is a popular food ingredient in Malaysia.
It is made from fresh shrimps known as 'udang geragau'.
Traditionally,'belacan' is used as a food enhancer in countless Malaysian dishes.
In addition,it could also be mixed with chillies, lime, and some other ingredients as a dipping condiment known as 'sambal belacan' that is well like by Malaysian.

So let me tell ya'll about my #Hairfinity journey so far.. So My first pic in April was right after my weave withdrawal, needless to say my hair was broken, weak, super thin, uneven, unhealthy etc etc. I started the pills mid April and literally took a week to notice a difference. A month later in May my bangs grew back completely! I'm only on my second bottle still, but my hair is growing rapid, it's stronger, abt two inches longer, fuller, shinier(without shining products), and most important healthier!! so yes ladies the hype is real lol. #HairfinityJourney #HairVitamins #HealthyHair #FromTheInsideOut#BrockBeauty #yesitworks #imawitness #hairrestoration #theprocess
