Macro Mondays theme: Father
This is a section of the leatherette cover of one of the four volumes of Audel's Carpenters and Builders Guide that my father gave me before he died. It is packed with useful information that he used for many things, including designing and building the two story extension to my family home. Each time I look at these books on my shelf I think of my father who was born 100 years ago. Sadly he died at the age of 91. I don't use it for anything practical (the internet is much easier) but it is a treasured memorial to the old man.
This is a quote from the frontispiece:

I looked and looked for my French Curves but cannot find them so I was about to give up when I noticed the pattern on our shower curtain has lots of swoopy curves so took a few close up shots and chose this one.
There's always something that can be photographed.

About the project:
I apply linguistic theories of cohesion in text (meronymy) to the composition of my photographs. Most of the time I use one single image for my works that I like studying in terms of possible different meanings ("visual" semantic) to translate it later into the composition of my diptychs or triptychs.

It's "Me Again Monday" and the theme is mood~I waited until this morning to find a shot and was blessed with foggy conditions at my favorite place.

For Macro Mondays theme of Rust. In one of our Garden beds we have a metal plant markers that have, over the years, become rather rusty. This is the upper portion of the "O" in tomato with some onions providing the green in the background. The "O" from left to right is about 15mm across.
