So I randomly decided to make him because I felt like making another Jim Carrey character, and it fits pretty well because I found out that there was a crossover with him and The Mask. His hair is sculpted and his shirt is based off an action figure because I didn't feel like doing all of the detail from his other shirt (I might make others in the future), I really like the detail on his card though, I think it looks cool.
Through the grapevine, I heard Dr. Helga is running for office... a bunch of them actually. Well, I will have none of it, not without a fight anyway. So... I am putting myself forward and hope that folk will appreciate how I will chop the deficit, axe fewer jobs, relying on attrition instead and hack.. Hack... HACK!!! Umm, sorry... I mean back my running mate (a hedgehog named Frank... Norman, like, wtf!) with his campaign also.
- What's your platform?
Two of them actually and both with four inch heels... hey! It was the 70's man!
- What office(s) are you running for?
Nuthin' fancy or too ambitious actually... Supreme Ruler of the Universe oughta do
- Why are you qualified to run?
Both legs still work rather well and I'm scared shitless of the grieved ones chasing me!
- Who's your running mate?
As mentioned above, Frank... it's a nice name.
- Do you have any skeletons in the closet?
Me? Ha! You must be kidding!

Stars and Milky Way behind 'The Mask' - Bryce Canyon National Park. This is the northern end of the Milky Way, with many constellations like the Paleiades, or Seven Sisters (the star cluster just above the right eyebrow of The Mask).
See the awe-inspiring NightScape VIDEO – with one Milky Way after another!
My new ebook, Milky Way NightScapes, gives extensive details on how to enhance the landscape foreground. Three other chapters cover planning, scouting, forecasting star/landscape alignment, shooting and post processing.
Can we get into #GigiHadid being inspired by my female #TheMask illustration and slaying it?! Love it!! 😍💛💚 #Halloween #DressUp #HauntCouture

About
The Mask.
Self portrait wearing a mask that I use when spray painting some of my art works.
The shot
In front of a projection screen to have a perfect white background, I asked my daughter to take
a photo of me wearing my painting mask.
After a couple of tries there was a good one.
Taken with the 60mm macro lens and the Canon 430EX II Strobe that was aimed at the ceiling.
Photoshop
° The original image was brightened and desaturated a bit.
e-fxg
I include the original picture down below as well as some explanation about the workings
of e-fxg.
Photoshop
° A few small touch ups with the liquify filter.

Down at the lake the other day, I was lucky enough to catch Bastian in "attack mode". Its not that often it happens and even more seldom that I have my camera ready when it happens :-)

So, you thought there were only six Infinity Stones didn't you, well guess what, there are actually more (others that I don't think I'll be able to make for reasons, and I want to focus on this right now). I found out about this from Death Battle (Deadpool vs. Mask), and if you know about the stone and about me, and my favorite red mouthy mercenary that I might have just mentioned, you probably already knew why I had to make this. I basically painted the stone dark blue because, I think that's what color that is.

There used to be an amazing wall of tvs there.
This store was located in the Parham Plaza shopping center. The part of the center that this store was in has been demolished and rebuilt. It was an unusual layout (note you had to go up the stairs to see most of the store.)
& now for something completely different....
This is something I have been working on recently, a rather creepy looking mask. I have gradually be adding designs onto it...This is a shot of it mid completion... More will follow...
Sefton has gone from hiding from the camera to now standing very patiently whilst I snap away....I love his hair...what a star !
Entering this for the Daily Challenge "The Masks we wear"
Happy Slider Sunday
In answer to the questions there's been a lot of sliding to this, originally Seftons eyes were quite dark so a brightness and contrast boost with a mask was applied and opacity reduced. I desaturated the red top and added Dodging to the hair to brighten.
Hope your all having a great weekend
Thanks for views, comments and faves, all are always very much appreciated :)
