I received these dolls as my Christmas present from my S.O.

They're from Sideshow Collectibles, and are wonderfully detailed and articulated. Rooted hair, and authentic accessories. Jen has his flute and his crystal shard. Kira has Fizgig, of course.

They can't wait to play with my BJDs.

Jen and Kira from The Dark Crystal. They looked a little oddly stiff close-up, but that was probably a result of preservation/restoration efforts. The sign mentioned that the latex discolors and disintegrates over time, and these two are older than I am.

Nicole, Heather, and Michelle made a gingerbread carrousel with Sci-Fi and fantasy creatures for Christmas this year.

This is the actual puppet from The Dark Crystal in 1982, so it’s 35 years old here. A helpful note explains that foam latex deteriorates, and they do the best to preserve it. Look at the eyes! It’s alive, definitely.
