Took this one at work on Friday, I think I was able to get the texture really nicely with my Nikon s8000, and I love the shadows in this shot. The object is the grip on a differential micrometer made by Newport Corporation. I happened to have one sitting at my desk, and I like Macro shots.

The antique clock Jose was the perfect excuse for this little tutorial.
