Do your photos speak to you and tell a story sometimes?
This was one of those photos that I liked and yet not enough to publish, too plain and ordinary on its own. With yesterday being a stay at home rainy day, I spent time playing and practicing different techniques in Photoshop. I chose this photo to play with and it began to speak to me as I played with different textures and processes.
The post card message is just pretend, so don't go trying to read between the fence wires ;-)

I'm trying my hand at taking textures shots to use in photo manipulation. I honestly have no clue what I'm doing so any helpful hints would be appreciated.

this is what we use for shades in the master bath. it makes for soft lighting and adds a certain mood to the room. i thought it made a nice texture/background.
