MODERN TIMES! COMMUNICATION.
From a very young age you see children with mobile phones, nowadays.
Mixed feelings.
I personally think that it is still a very expensive must have 'gadget'? How did we all ever survive without it????????
Anyway, here, this girl was only playing with her mum's phone, pretending, it was great fun!
thank you for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)

Another one that didn't make the cut for photo of the week.
I think if I'd put some punctuation at the end of this, it would have been better?
Hello people from tumblr! This photo seems to have become slightly popular, which is nice! Please don't forget to link back to this page if you're reblogging this image (and say hi in the comments below, while you're here)!
With the frenetic pace of modern day life it seems that everyone is always in a rush to be getting along to some other place. Almost like whatever destination you're currently at is just a stepping stone to some other, better place. Which is surely a folly. Sometimes it's nice to just stop what you're doing and appreciate the moment. Or, as Ferris Bueller put it 'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.' So there.
Made using spraypaint, stencils, text messages from my phone and some water droplets shamelessly stolen from MyDogSighs (and then inexplicably turned upside down) then affixed to a wall with one way security screws. Good luck getting that off.
Cheers

I was in the subway station to get motion shots of the subway arriving and leaving. This was actually just a test shot to check my composition, but it really turned out to be an interesting photo with the girl in focus and the others around her in a blur!

Found these neat app magnets this summer at Caddywampus Gifts on Mackinac Island. They're made by the Jailbreak Collective (jailbreakcollective.com).
Currituck National Wildlife Refuge consists of 4,570 acres and is located on the northern end of North Carolina's Outer Banks. It was established in 1984 to preserve and protect the coastal barrier island ecosystem. With miles of undisturbed shoreline, occasional vacation homes and no paved roads, it is accessible only by 4-wheel drive vehicles. Print size 8x10 inches.
we're gonna do it. this is how i decided to tell my extended family:
ME: hey guess what!
THEM: ...
ME: i'm gonna get married!
so far i've been met with varying degrees of excitement, but the person i was most worried about telling -- my sister, who's had a rough month -- was by far the happiest about it.
luckily it is already WELL established that i'm the weirdo black sheep of the family, so hopefully that will head a lot of annoying conversations off at the pass. thanks for small favors.

M som i Meddelande?
What kind of message is this? Text message? SMS? Just happened to stand there waiting for opening today (McDonalds, Västervik, Sweden) and I strolled by and saw the opportunity to a funny shot and it is not very often I shoot candid photos of people but this scene appealed to me.
Thanks for new ideas to what the M stands for, Per Ola Wiberg and Shepherd: Mötesplats and MaMMa Mia! hehehe
Two weeks ago, I called the local ranger to get permission to set up my little camouflaged hide at the edge of the forest I can see when I look outside my kitchen window. You see, I see the roe deer almost every day but it's really hard to get close to them as they are very shy. I was thrilled when I got the permission.
So, last weekend I happily set up the little tent, installed myself with a book inside and waited. Apart from a few (horny) hares, nothing much happened that sunday so I decided to leave the tent there until this weekend.
But.... then the storm came. I was in the office and I looked outside. Wind was blowing strong so I sent a textmessage home if the tent was still standing. Hans answered "yes'. (what a talker is that man...) Half an hour later he sent me a text message which said "Not anymore".....
I called him to see if I could persuade him to go and get it. After his initial "Are you out of your mind" I finally convinced him that it would be worth his while so off he went, through the raging storm to go find the tent which was blown deep into the forest, tumbling on and on. Rain was coming down by the bucket and branches were flying all around him. When he finally got it he had to fold it up to get it in the car and to do that he had to crawl in to remove the two flexible rods inside that keep the tent in its shape. But with the wind, when he removed them the whole thing collapsed on him trapping him between 4 sheets of very wet nylon.. Só glad I was in the office, so I couldn't hear what he was shouting at that moment :-)
I don't think I have to further explain that I spent at least an hour that evening listening to a lecture I won't easily forget (I really really tried to keep my face straight!! Got a severe attack of the hickups from keeping back laughter though).
Right.. with the storm over, I tried again this weekend. (put a few more lines on it just to make sure..:-).
I went in, got out my book to kill time but next thing I knew four roe deer were coming out of the forest parading up and down just in front of my little hide!!!! I almost didn't dare to breathe!! They looked at the hide but apparently were not threatened by it.
So here it is, and I still think it was worth the (deserved :-)) lecture!!
