Google is celebrating Josef Frank today with another Google doodle logo today, on the 125th anniversary of his birth.
Josef Frank: (born in Baden bei Wien, Austria on July 15, 1885; died in Stockholm on January 8, 1967) was an Austrian/Swedish architect, engineer and textile designer. He worked with Oskar Strnad and was familiar with the Vienna Circle. During 1933 he relocated to Sweden, where he worked for the Svenskt Tenn design company and produced numerous design items until his death. During 1965 he won the Grand Austrian State Prize for architecture.

Step 21: Funny how quickly the unraveling went and how slowly the stitch binding and wrapping went!
I feel a little reptilian in my shibori structured felted wrap-a-round collar! It sure has alot of bounce! Playful thing I must say!
Size: 100cm x 70cm.
Inspired by my photography taken in May.
Composed using 3+ photos of Epiphyllum.
And when the colour is being painted and spread on paper.. my heart is filled with JOY.

Zandra Rhodes, is an English fashion designer and was one of the new wave of British designers who put London at the forefront of the international fashion scene in the 1970's. Zandra was made a Commander of the British Empire in 1997 in recognition of her contribution to fashion and textiles. I took this photograph at the launch party for a new range of bed linen Zandra designed in collaboration with Ashley Wilde. Zandra Rhodes makes colourful look dull and, what a wonderful lady. She's seen here sitting on a new range of bedding textiles featuring one of her famous designs. The bedding, created by the UKs leading textile innovators, Ashley Wilde, will go on sale mid-July 2010.
