Testride Hermann Daniel

Test rode the Yuba Mundo today..... I think I see one in our future.

My blog about the test ride: bike4heck.blogspot.com/2011/08/yuba-mundo-test-ride-aug-5...

Will we really see Olga riding a bike? Must admit it is quite a pleasant sight ;) And doesn't Anastasia look classy on her "omafiets"?

Donderdag 4 oktober 2012

Thursday 4th of October 2012

For the 3th and 4th of october testride where announced with a NSHispeed V250 - on the 4th they were actually held.

Time to take a good look at this newest train of NSHispeed, due to the late hours it had to be done on Lelystad Station - where else so late in the evening ;)

The survey takes place from close to wide, at first with the red tail LED lights, later with the white ones .....

NSH V250 4804 just entered at platform 1 of Lelystad Station after completion of the first ride from Lelystad to Zwolle Yard vv.

First things first - the nose - it is a good nose job but one to get familiar with ;))

And I'm making myself wear a helmet again (140 miles in the last 5 days). This Carrera helmet is very lightweight and not noticeable after you look away from the mirror :) The design is sort of like the old leather helmets, with foam and plastic replacing the stuffed leather.

First time the Watsonian has been on a bike for 8 years. An odd sensation to ride, but great fun! Don't think it would take too long to get used to. No nasty vices with the Humber either, not like the BSA!

Hope you like sidecar view! Think it might be a bit bumpy in there ...

Filmed with my new gopro. Sorry it's a bit rough and ready. I'm using iMovie'08 to edit at the moment, and not liking it at all.

Norton 961 British Retrobike. Production was stopped in the seventies and started again at the end of 2012.

2013 Master X-Light 30th ANNIVERSARY

Last week I bought a scooter built in 1994. I saw the advertisement and decided to take a look in Utrecht. It was cheap and when I arrived in Utrecht I saw immediately why....

It was full of scratches and the paintwork was in a bad shape. But when I took it for a short testride, I was pleasantly surprised of the technical condition. It was steering and breaking like new and the engine was running smoothly although the owner said that the last time he drove it he had to walk home.

But I bought the scooter and after a week hard work I got that same feeling I had fixing my very first moped when I was 16 :)

It took a bit of welding, a lot of sanding and spraypainting and a quick fix of the engine. There was some water in the carburettor, I fixed that with some alcohol in the fueltank and I replaced the sparkplug. When I finished it today, nobody could believe that this scooter is seventeen years old.

I feel 16 again riding it :)

Have a great weekend my friends!

Brandon tries out a Transport bike at the Dutch Bike store on Armitage. Azor makes this Transportfiets.

My bike is ready and it rides great. I took it on a testride a few minutes. I'm totally satisfied with it. The wheels look cool and its really sluggish to get rolling.

This is a Swedish military bike from the 1940s. I bought it in mint condition a year ago. It had never been used standing in a storage. This week I've kitted it with some really cool stuff. It got new Rodi Vision rims and awesome fat Schwalbe Super Moto Evolution tires. I also mounted a smaller cogwheel making it faster and more sluggish to get rolling. It doesn't have holes to mount the waterbottle holder so I ducktaped it to the frame.

Had a testride with the Fujinon XF90mm/F2.0 R at Photokina 2016.

Freshly outshopped from Salzinnes, 1328 is on its testride from Ronet to Antwerpen Noord when being looped at Moustier Garage. At this place, important engineering works are being undertaken to raise the speed from 20km/h to 40km/h for trains on the international freightcorridor connecting the northeast of France with the port of Antwerp. Currently, the points are in a curve which can be taken at 90km/h when going straight on from Namur to Charleroi. As seen on the signal, speed is only 20km/h tough when taking the points in diverted position, way to slow for 600-metres freights nowadays... 25/04/2019

Here's someting you won't see often, me riding a Harley. I went to Trev Deeley's Test Our Metal Day and tried out a Road Glide and an Electro Glide Ultra. "IF" I was buying a H-D this would probably be my bike. And yes I was bundled up a bit, was kinda cool this morning.

My Yamaha R1 '03 test ride.

My testride with the new Panigale 1299. What a bike! And what a difference in low- and midrange torque compared to the 1199!

BTW: Malfunction of my Sony Nex. ISO changes continuously even if fixed.

Out for 58(s)miles to test the updated RealRider app and to record alongside it using Relive app..

Popped out to the lovely Revs and Relics cafe in Maltby (worth a visit!) and then worked my way back using smaller roads etc..

Nice to see some other REs at Revs an Relics..
