Testing my Tokina ATX 100 mount to D3100. Its coupled well.
The bit grainy LCD display is just not enough for me to view the shots taken. The best good thing is its light weight...

Touchstone and testing needles for testing carats of gold.
This reminded me of some of my own pieces with sewing-machine needles.
Willie Wouldhave tested his lifeboat model at South Shields beach in 1789. His friend and collaborator W A Hails wrote that the model was unsinkable and self righting. The model lifeboat in South Shields museum is almost certainly not Wouldhave's model as it is not self righting. This model was made from Hails description and it performed well in the test showing great stability and the ability to surf down waves as well as being self righting in all conditions.

I just received a new lens, the Tokina 100mm Macro for Canon which is a long-time dream lens of mine.
