Wouldn't want to fall!

Big state science test today for 5th grade. My students are used to seeing my silly side. Ok... so are my friends. Oh, and also my family. Hee Hee! Just can't hide it.

There was a time when, before the company's official acquisitions came, they tested some of the new features on some new trucks that were launched and in the case of this specific model, it was hitched to a trailer with the company's old paint job.

Shortly before he took off, I got this picture of him testing his wings. He did fly off so I hope he will be okay. At least he didn't get stepped on or swept away by a broom!

I just tested the Nikon V1 + FT1 adapter + Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VRII (handheld) in the garden. This shot was made at 200mm f/2.8 which, with the 2.7 crop factor of the CX sensor, is equivalent to a shot made with a 540mm f/2.8. This shot is only very little cropped, with basic exposure and contrast adjustments.

せっかくある機能なので、使ってみた。です。

微妙です(笑)

It is a function provided in D90.

It used it for the first time because it was special.

It is slight. :(

Testing my Tokina ATX 100 mount to D3100. Its coupled well.

The bit grainy LCD display is just not enough for me to view the shots taken. The best good thing is its light weight...

So there's some funny cropping on this camera as you can see. The final image is almost square within the whole frame.

There's actually more sharpness and detail than I expected, but ultimately this demonstrates why I'd not use this camera for regular shooting. Not consistent enough, and the camera isn't close to as easy to use as my Nikon F.
