Celebrating 10 years at Beith Juniors Kenny McLean was awarded a testimonial. The match was between the current Beith Juniors side and an all stars team made up of players that have played with Kenny during his 10 years at the club and some of Kenny's close friends. Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions the match was abandoned at half time. However it was still a great day celebrating 10 years of Kenny McLean.

Charlie C. Tan initiated the IBM Desktop computer concept in 1975, he pioneer the IBM 3rd party Services Business before he left for his study in UK.. While with Texas Instruments in the 1980-1981 he is involved with the S.W.I.F.T. & Citibank Electronic Banking System & Worldwide Network. As well as creating the vertical application industries marketing i.e. Hotel, Transport, Airlines, Airport, Education, Heavy Industries, Telecoms.. & the private Distributed Network Operating System...etc.
He also pioneer in integrating NEC Computers & Communications C& C Convergent. In the early 80s NEC PC were still locked into their proprietary CPM base Japanese operating system, He took bold initiative in leading NEC launch the 1st MS DOS base PC.
When he was with ICL / Fujitsu, he have help into the defining the Electronic Post Office automation ; hand-held device for Electronics Funds Transfer / Multi-Segments & Channel Payments.
While with Philips, he had led Philips achieved 5% total PC market of the Asia Pacific region. He had help Philips into winning the historical tender in Mainframe-Unix Engine-PC Workstations base solutions with worldwide network architecture. & Many more applications as total solutions for Philips.
Charlie C. Tan is a pioneer in initiating Philips New Corporate Culture, his initiatives have led many other Multi-National corporation to follows.
