Beach of Haad Rin on Koh Phangan, Thailand. Always a pleasure to visit this wonderful island. However, you should know that the legendary full moon parties attract thousands of tourists. Outside of this time, the island is an absolutely tranquil natural paradise and it is great fun to explore the island on a scooter. However, scooter rides across the island are a challenge, as it is an extreme uphill and downhill ride.

I was very impressed by the many kite surfers near Thong Sala Pier and would have liked to spend a little more time there. In any case, Koh Phangan is always worth a visit and we will come back in 2025.

Am Strand von Koh Phangan, Thailand. Immer wieder ein Vergnügen diese wundervolle Insel oberhalb von kau Samui und unterhalb von Koh Tao zu besuchen. Man sollte natürlich wissen, dass die legendäre Full Moon Partys tausende von Touristen anziehen, die kurzfristig an- und auch wieder abreisen. Außerhalb dieser Zeit ist die Insel ein absolut ruhiges Naturparadies und es ist genial, die Insel mit einem Motorroller zu erkunden. BTW - Die "alten Gurken" wurden weitgehend in Koh Phangan abgeschafft, man bekommt inzwischen überall (2023) neuwertige Roller (125-160 ccm).

Bei einem Unfall liest sich die Liste der Ersatzteile wie eine Speisekarte. Man kann auch den ganzen Roller "kaufen", falls man ihn etwa versenkt haben sollte. Das Rollerfahren auf Koh Phangan ist eine Herausforderung, denn es geht steil bergauf und bergab.

Die Kite Surfer am Strand in der Nähe des Thong Sala Piers haben mich sehr beeindruckt und ich wäre gerne länger geblieben, um einen Kurs zu machen.

Alles in allem ist Koh Phangan immer wieder eine Reise wert und wir werden vermutlich in 2025 wiederkommen, wenn es unsere Route erlaubt.

This image was so tricky!! I used theshutterbugeye's stream to inspire me for this one but also put my own personal style into it.

theshutterbugeye has taken some really cool photos of buildings lately, halloween inspired pics and is quite the expert at using textures. So I thought I would use those three elements as my inspiration... buildings, halloween and textures!!

I had taken this photo of a very old building on a university campus at Parramatta, Sydney quite a while ago.

I also had a intricate spider web photo which I also had never used so I used that as my texture.

Hope this has turned out ok, I don't do much texture work!

I just come back from 8 days trip in Java Island Indonesia. One of the places i went is the famous Mt.Ijen. My friends and i woke up at 2.30am for the hike to the mountain, reach the starting point around 3am. It was a 3KM hike, it is consider an easy hike and if you are physically fit it can be done in 1 hour but i'm not fit so it took me about 2 hours to reach the top. We were unlucky cause the visibility is so bad we can hardly see the lake, i'm lucky enough to have this shot and to be able to visit this place.

Kawah Ijen is one of the most incredible and surreal places I've ever visited i just wish the weather was on our side that day so that we can explore more but like my friend said i'm lucky enough to be alive :) Ijen is actually a site of a labor intensive sulfur mining operation where miners collect and carry huge loads of pure sulfur up from the crater floor along a steep, rocky path amid clouds of sulfur dioxide gas, all for the equivalent of about ten dollars a day which is very cheap considering the work environment and the hard work they doing there. Anyway, i will post pictures of the miners soon and thanks for taking time looking at my photostream.

I looked at the very first batch of pictures I uploaded, how they all have 1-5 comments each. Now I have 20+ each time I upload something new, and even have a picture with 100+ comments! Which is insane. I would have never expected to have as much support for what I do. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.

Hello Flickr! It's been a while. I have no time whatsoever to keep this updated, now that Hurricane Ike is on it's way to Florida and!! I don't have a digital camera anymore :(.

I had to use my sister's Nikon (baby) Digital. I'm broke, but I finally got a job at Publix! So, hopefully I can get some good cash out of this full-time job. Because I need to buy a bunch of stuff especially so I can pay hopefully my Flickr Pro Account because it expires in October, if not, then it's bye bye for me till I get money again ;[!

I start school by the end of this month! I'm excited, I hate being stuck at home bored while everyone else is having such a productive day!

I've been having awkward dreams lately as well, this somewhat sums up what's been one of my most recent dreams? I don't know! This has the Peter Pan look doesn't it? bahhh, I have plenty more where they came from though, so be on the look out!
