06.01.2020 A year ago, on Christmas Eve, a historical document was brought to Kyiv that testified to the independence of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. This document has completed the case, the origins of which go back centuries.

Havre de paix, c'est l'un des petits coins varois qui fait penser au paradis. Cet îlot est préservé des voitures avec une plage paradisiaque au son des cigales. L’île de Bendor, propriété de la famille Ricard, est un monde à part, véritable village autonome à seulement quelques minutes de bateau de Bandol.
C’est un des spots idéal pour mes amoureux ou les pasionnés de photographie. il est situé à seulement quelques minutes du port de Bandol, l’île de Bendor a su conserver son cachet et a été construite et aménagée par Paul Ricard dans les années 50.
On fait le tour de cet îlot de 7 hectares à pied, appréciant les eaux turquoises côté Bandol, vue sur la Ciotat sur la côte sous le vent plus sauvage, admirant au passage les sculptures témoignant de la vie artistique de l’île.
Haven of peace, it is one of the small corners Var which makes think of the paradise. This islet is preserved cars with a beach paradise to the sound of cicadas. The island of Bendor, owned by the Ricard family, is a world apart, a true autonomous village just a few minutes by boat from Bandol.
This is one of the ideal spots for my lovers or photography enthusiasts. it is located just minutes from the port of Bandol, the island of Bendor has retained its character and was built and furnished by Paul Ricard in the 50s.
We go around this island of 7 hectares on foot, enjoying the turquoise waters side Bandol, overlooking the Ciotat on the coast under the wind more wild, admiring the passage of the sculptures testifying to the artistic life of the island.
From Ludolf of Lüdinghausen 1406 established Borgmühle was formerly a building belonging to the castle Lüdinghausen. At that time for the Borgmühle own new Steverarm had to be dug out.
After the death of the last knight of Lüdinghausen, in 1443 the mill, just as the castle, to the bishop of Münster and later reached to the chapter. From the renewal of the mill in 1711 the stone inscription about the entrance testifies. Today the mill offers an optically wonderful picture in the heart of the town.
The current mill wheel comes from 1988 and was donated by the home association.

Ydra island celebrates at November 14th its Patron St. Constantine the Hydraian new Martyr
Ύδρα ανύδρω νυν ρέει ύδωρ ξένον,
Tων ιαμάτων εκ σορού Kωνσταντίνου.
Βίος
Ο Άγιος Κωνσταντίνος γεννήθηκε στην Ύδρα και ο πατέρας του ονομαζόταν Μιχαήλ, η δε μητέρα του Μαρίνα.
Δεκαοκτώ χρονών έφυγε από την Ύδρα και πήγε στη Ρόδο, κοντά στον Τούρκο ηγεμόνα Χασάν Καπετάν. Εκεί ο Κωνσταντίνος παρασύρθηκε και έξισλαμίστηκε, με το όνομα Χασάν και για τρία χρόνια απολάμβανε μεγάλες τιμές. Αργότερα όμως, συναισθάνθηκε το ολίσθημα του και άρχισε να μετανοεί. Έκανε ελεημοσύνες και έκλαψε πικρά. Τελικά, για να εξιλεωθεί αποφάσισε να μαρτυρήσει. Βρήκε λοιπόν κάποιο πνευματικό, εξομολογήθηκε και ζήτησε την ευχή του να μαρτυρήσει. Ο πνευματικός του όμως τον απέτρεψε, διότι φοβήθηκε το νεαρό της ηλικίας του. Ο Κωνσταντίνος έκανε υπακοή, εγκατέλειψε τη Ρόδο και πήγε στην πόλη Κρίμι, κατόπιν στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και από 'κει στο Άγιον Όρος.
Στην Μονή Ιβήρων, προετοιμάστηκε για το μαρτύριο και αφού πήρε την ευχή των πατέρων ήλθε στη Ρόδο. Εκεί, παρουσιάστηκε στον ηγεμόνα και με θάρρος ομολόγησε τον Χριστό. Τα βασανιστήρια που ακολούθησαν ήταν φρικτά. Τελικά τον απαγχόνισαν στις 14 Νοεμβρίου 1800 μ.Χ.
Σήμερα, στη γενέτειρα του την Ύδρα, υπάρχει λαμπρότατος Ναός στο όνομα του, όπου βρίσκεται και το ιερό του λείψανο.
Biography
Saint Konstantinos was born in Hydra, and his father was called Michael, and his mother Marina.
Eighteen years old he left Hydra and went to Rhodes, near the Turkish ruler Hassan Kapetan. There, Constantine was dragged and defeated, with the name of Hassan, and for three years he enjoyed great prizes. Later, however, he felt his slumber and began to repent. He made mercies and cried bitterly. In the end, to be redeemed, he decided to testify. So he found some spiritual, confessed and asked for his wish to bear witness. His spiritualist, however, prevented him because he was afraid of his young age. Constantine obeyed, abandoned Rhodes and went to the city of Crimea, then to Constantinople and then to Mount Athos.
In the Monastery of Iveron, he was prepared for the martyrdom and after he had received the wish of the fathers he came to Rhodes. There, he presented himself to the ruler and courageously confessed Christ. The torture that followed was terrible. Eventually it was hanged on November 14, 1800 AD.
Today, in his birthplace Hydra, there is a brilliant Temple in his name, where his sacred relic is.

Point Imperial, North Rim, Grand Canyon, AZ. While putting this together, I mainly remember the coffee. There aren't many services on the North Rim, and they are certainly not running before sunup. Exposed on the overlook where the slightest breeze intensified the morning chill, I sorely craved the warmth of hot coffee this morning. But I tucked and huddled in fleece, waited and took exposure readings as the smudge along the horizon neared readiness. Here and there canyon walls began to glow. Straight out, the monolith of Mount Hayden stood alone, like a conductor spotlighting each instrument, like a preacher testifying to his congregation. At that first pinpoint above the dark of the land, I took my nine shots, a wide vista that included the blue/magenta band of the earth's shadow on the far western side. I, too, had things to say, truths to tell. Who but God would hear me in this great nowhere, and who knew if he was listening? I was done; I went to my pack and pulled out the stove, boiled the water, and poured it into camp cups with packets of Starbucks Via. I gave one to my brother as he came up, and he nodded his head at the first sip. Was it the air, the sunrise, the visual sermon? I don't know, but it was the best cup of coffee I ever had. I bore witness, and told him anyway.

The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

I cannot stop giving thanks to the Lord for this amazing place! It is still hard to wrap my mind around how beautiful Lake Moraine is! The water is a deep blue that is hard to describe in words and is truly a place that you will have to experience for yourself. It is so true that the creation testifies of the glory of God!

I have a story to tell and a testimony to share. None of this work can I credit to myself. I refuse to back down from testifying of the glory of my Creator! I will declare of His marvelous works for all of my days! I will not cease to shout praise joyfully for what my God has done for me! My testimony is covered with His erasable fingerprints. Every aspect of my life is marked by His grace and filled with His mercy! Everything in this is made with such perfect intentionality that our small and finite minds cannot fathom the infinite and creative nature of our God! Who alone paints the skies! Who can raise up the mountains and fill the valleys with springs of water that sustain the very life forms that depend on them! How can we possibly deny the existence of God in this! It is a foolish pursuit to try and fulfill the role of God as only He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. He is the all-sufficient and all-encompassing One to whom every man will bow on bended knee when He returns in all of His glory! He is the one to whom all of the living creatures around the throne cry "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come." Let us not foolishly think that this life is about ourselves. Our testimony as Christians is Christ and the work He has accomplished for us. "We have overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony." Our testimony is Christ's shed blood on the cross that cleansed us from all of our sins. Therefore, I refuse to testify of anything else, but Christ in me and His never ending sovereign rule over all creation!
The only thing left that testifies to lives once lived, to laughter and love, tears and regrets. To families growing up and away or hard times or maybe good times so that a bigger and newer place is attained. A solid reminder that someone once dwelled here and built this enduring memorial. And yes, I had to restrain Anita from fighting her way through the brush to get a closer look! LOL Not sure if we were still in Virginia or had crossed over into West Virginia at this point.

Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel, San Esteban de Gormaz, Soria, Castilla y León, España.
La iglesia de San Miguel es de una gran importancia a nivel artístico ya que lo más probable es que fuera el lugar donde por primera vez se edificara una galería porticada románica. Uno de los canecillos así lo atestigua.
En él aparece un monje que sostiene un libro abierto en el que se puede leer: “Me hizo el maestro Julianus en la era de 1119 (año 1081)”. Por este motivo se trataría no solo de la galería porticada más antigua de Castilla, sino uno de los primeros templos románicos de la zona sur del Duero. Declarada Monumento Nacional desde 1976.
Se trata de un templo de una sola nave con torre adosada al lado norte y galería porticada posterior a la construcción de la iglesia. Esta galería era un espacio de valor social ya que servía de lugar de reunión.
Los capiteles del pórtico muestran animales, caballeros y fortalezas musulmanas. La portada es muy sencilla. Se compone de 4 arquivoltas cuyos capiteles representan caras, leones y piñas. El ábside posee una ventana aspillera decorada con ajedrezado.
A diferencia de la iglesia, que está construida en mampostería irregular, la torre y la galería porticada presentan sillares cuadrados.
Interiormente solo tiene una nave, un corto presbiterio y ábside semicircular. En la capilla quedan una serie de pinturas tardo góticas representando la Visitación, la Adoración de los Reyes Magos y la Huida a Egipto.
Como curiosidad durante las obras de acondicionamiento realizadas en 2009, sacaron a la luz cientos de grafitos del S. XII y XIII, inscripciones funerarias, huellas, cruces de consagración…etc. También se encontró en la galería porticada de la iglesia una tumba medieval, en la que el difunto sujetaba en la mano una cruz patriarcal del S. XII, que está expuesta en el Museo Numantino de Soria.
The church of San Miguel is of great importance on an artistic level since it was most likely the place where a Romanesque porticoed gallery was built for the first time. One of the corbels testifies to this.
In it appears a monk holding an open book in which one can read: "Master Julianus made me in the era of 1119 (year 1081)". For this reason it would be not only the oldest porticoed gallery in Castile, but also one of the first Romanesque temples in the southern area of the Duero. Declared a National Monument since 1976.
It is a temple with a single nave with a tower attached to the north side and a porticoed gallery after the construction of the church. This gallery was a space of social value since it served as a meeting place.
The capitals of the portico show animals, knights and Muslim fortresses. The cover is very simple. It is made up of 4 archivolts whose capitals represent faces, lions and pineapples. The apse has a loophole window decorated with a checkered pattern.
Unlike the church, which is built in irregular masonry, the tower and the porticoed gallery have square ashlars.
Inside it only has a nave, a short presbytery and a semicircular apse. In the chapel there are a series of late Gothic paintings representing the Visitation, the Adoration of the Magi and the Flight into Egypt.
As a curiosity, during the conditioning works carried out in 2009, hundreds of graffiti from the 12th and 13th centuries, funerary inscriptions, footprints, consecration crosses, etc. were brought to light. A medieval tomb was also found in the porticoed gallery of the church, in which the deceased held a patriarchal cross from the 12th century in his hand, which is on display at the Numantino Museum in Soria.

this neighbourhood is densely inhabited by south Americam immigrants and the production of these graffiti obviously regards only some ' writers ' probably living in this area or in nearby neighbourhoods , these images are obviously in a park where anybody can see them, children included.....
I just took pictures , that doesn't mean that I share the content of these graffiti , but for me it is correct to testify of the quality of life lead by some young people living in this area , anyway, better on the walls than in real life , as a matter of fact this area is quite peaceful.

US215 winds its way down the mountains from the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Cold Mountain, North Carolina. Windy weather from the night before created a nice carpet of leaves on the freshly-paved road, and their presence in the middle of the pavement testifies to the minuscule amount of traffic this portion of the road receives!

"The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Human presence dates back to very ancient times, as testified by the many prehistoric caves below the present town, and its Latin name was Cryptulae, which means small grottos in Latin. Its reputation is based on its artistic tradition of rustic pottery (plates, flasks, oil and cereal containers called orci) for everyday use, baked in antiquity in ovens excavated in the rocks.
The territory was inhabited in prehistory and in historical times by the Greeks between the 13th and 12th century BC, when it was part of the Metaponto colony, the most important of the 8 regions of Magna Grecia. In Roman times Grottole was a Municipium. After the fall of the Roman Empire in 851 the Lombards included the Grottole fiefdom in Salerno dukedom, and at that time a castle was built. It was ruled by many feudal families, among them the Orsini-Del Balzo and Zurlo-Pisciscelli, then from 1547 to 1639 it was under the Sancez De Luna d'Aragona, to pass to the Caracciolo of Melissano, Spinelli of San Giorgio and finally from 1738 to the Sanseverino from Bisignano. The castle (Castle Feudale) still stands today.

I enjoy the wildness of the vast Northwoods and the creatures that live there. In winter it is cold and buried in many feet of snow. Many that live there can testify to that, after last winter. It is beautiful but demands respect from all that inhabit there. My last visit made me aware of another part of the Northwoods in June, the Mosquitos. The wildlife there must endure the same onslaught of the insects there. The comment photos attest to that.
- No ravages of time, testify to the present or to the coming generations, that we have forgotten, as a people, the cost of a free and undivided Republic!!
