I decided to put some gemstones in the kiln and see what happened. For extra measure, I added a thick layer of daisy clear to act as a flux.
Ok, and a piece of glass too. :) Couldn't resist.
Dagny was under the weather; I got out her favorite toy to see if she was still feeling poorly or if I was just a nervous Mom. She passed the "playing" test.

So I amused myself this morning by comparing the Fuji X-T20 and Lumix GX80 (85) in a bright sunlight. I used similar lenses on both: Panasoni 25mm 1.7 and Fuji 35mm 2.0, which both approximate to 50mm full frame. I used either aperture priority or intellgient auto with no exposure compensation. I think both cameras did pretty well.
