My first attempt using my borrowed "Opus OPL-M40 40WS AC Slave Flashes" from the great, Sir Jack Hillman.
Just got Peter to stand in the frame as I testing some different setups.
Setup: One flash on the ground behind him, pointing up , and one over my head pointing down.
Testing my new mini slave flash (Morris mini Slave Flash Plus), to try and remove the shadow created by having just one flash.
This photo is the "after", using both the on-camera flash and the slave.

One of my retirement jobs is testing students. All of the tests are on computers and kids think it is fun: a game. And the teachers get reliable information about what they know and what they are ready to learn.
Testing a remote setup for a future shoot. Camera on magic arm attached to the fork and right grip. Pocket wizards triggered by button located on the left hand side of the handlebar. PW trigger both camera and two remote flashes on for at the camera right at 1/2 power and one as a rimlight behind me (rider) at 1/1. f16/0,5 sec. Remote PW on 0,43 second delay to get rear curtain sync. flash placement was a bit tricky as was the timing of the delay.

66705 "Golden Jubilee" aka "The Flag" at Barrow on Trent with 6Z97 15.09 Beeston - Cardiff Tidal. This locomotive was named to mark the 50th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the Throne in 2002. Ten years on and it's Diamond Jubilee year. 16/01/12.
I've moved the Speed Graphic to the office where I'll be able to dedicate some time to it. With the original test bellows not a million miles away from what I need, I've laid it in place. The next test will need proper measurements though.

Testing the functions of the A77 as auto HDR...only works with Jpeg...dislike ;)
But I have to admit that the lens is pretty amazing (2.8/16-50 SSM)...
Ich habe hier mal wieder was getestet. Dieser Weg ist der Alte Weg (?) an der Mönchswand im Zittauer Gebirge.
Insgesamt habe ich 14 Bilder verarbeitet. Alle sind leider ohne Stativ aus der Hand aufgenommen. Ein Stativ macht sich beim Klettern schlecht ;)
Hoffe es gefällt ein trotzdem ein wenig. Würde mich interessieren was ihr davon haltet. Vielleicht mache ich das nächste mal noch eins.
First test with Leica C3 zoom camera. It is a very beautiful camera, solid built, quiet to use.
Lens is quite sharp.
Tried out the Oil Paint filter of my new Photoshop CS6 software. This new feature of Photoshop makes a photo look like an oil painting, as can be seen above.

Based in Singapore, Darren Moore (laptop/percussion), Tim O'Dwyer (saxophone) and Brian O'Reilly (bass/electronics/moving images) work with minimal sound and image to achieve subtle passages of shadowy texture, constructing a world that is both haunting and beautiful. Using extended instrumental techniques combined with live electronics, the group has developed a controlled improvisational approach that produces ethereal soundscapes that seem at times to be frozen in time.
We are delighted indeed to be hosting Iron Egg on their very first tour of Japan.

A dynamic visual group who have gained a reputation for the quality, originality and breadth of their work, we are overjoyed to have them back at Test Tone this month.
