Testing out some product shooting. I've got a light box coming from B&H but in the meantime I used a piece of poster board, SB600 to light the background and SB24 as a main. Adjustments made in post were levels and some exposure.

a 2" round test cupcake for sister's wedding. Her official cakes will be white, with slightly more tealish frosting...and bigger rosebud. Also, I'd run out of white frosting and wasn't able to finish decorating it...it's supposed to have a pretty white beaded boarder around the top edge.

Test-driving this model for Amy - thrilled with how it came out. I'll definitely make this again! There is so much crap shoved into the flange to make it spring, and I could have definitely used a bit heavier stock for the spine core, but it WORKS. I love the non-color of that leather too.

From the left to the right with a raw file exposure adjustment, a desaturation and then a little contrast boost for taste. If I hadn't used the raw file format and I got a shot like the one on the left, It would have been a bin job I think. I'm sold on this raw idea now, especially for infrared.
