Testing some closeup shots while walking a dog. Hybrid IS comes in handy when I have to hold G12 just with one hand. By the way, these mushrooms grow very, very, very fast. They come out of nowhere and stake their claims on our front porches.
MWMO staff use an infiltrometer to measure field hydraulic conductivity at the Masjid An-Nur mosque in North Minneapolis. The infiltrometer is used to measure the soil's capacity to infiltrate stormwater. The tests were performed in preparation for the installation of a series of raingardens that will capture and treat polluted runoff at the site.

Passing through Leeds this morning was this top n tailed test train. DB Schenker operated 67027 is seen tagging along the rear, the train would then make its way east to Neville Hill where it would then return to continue its circuit around the rails of Yorkshire.
On the other end was former Wrexham & Shropshire 67012, in the process of being displaced by brand new Class 68's operated by DRS.

Eight Soldiers and eight NCOs are competing in the NJARNG’s Best Warrior Competition, Mar. 27-29, 2017, which features timed events, including urban warfare simulations, land navigation, and the Army Physical Fitness Test. The top Soldier and NCO will go on to compete in the Region 1 Competition in April against National Guard Troops from the six New England states and New York. This is a test shot using a piece of expired Agfa Brovira photo paper in a 35mm film canister pinhole camera, which was left on an outside window ledge. Exposure here is about 2 weeks, then simply scanned and inverted, with a little contrast enhancement. Image formed purely by exposure, no chemical development has taken place.
