Testing out acrylic eye base with clear resin lens. Works really well for round designs! Light does refract differently due to the low dome though.
I was planning on taking this on the bicycle, but the D80 is kind of heavy with the Manfrotto Superclamp.

Quick stress test I did to see which light modifier is more efficient with the speedlights. Nothing has changed between the photos except for the umbrella and softbox, used a yongnuo YN-560 at full power using the D3000 at ISO100 1/200s at F/16 inside a dimly lit room.
Just testing things out to see which would be best for me to use in different circumstances. Last time I tried shooting outside I found that the efficiency or lack there of with the umbrella was a pretty big problem on a hazy day, there just wasn't enough light to overpower the ambient light.
Minha primeira still séria depois que passei a entender um pouco mais sobre o assunto. Somente um teste. O ideal seria testar com uma jóia, falam que é um dos objetos complicados :D ... mas como eu não uso ficou dificil achar um pra testar.
My first serious still, after I study a little bit about that kind of photography. Only for test. The ideal would be a jewel , but since I do not use becomes a little hard to find one and test.

Dave Armstrong, my mechanic, couldn't look at it until that Thursday; I flat-bedded it to his shop courtesy of AAA. And wouldn't you know it, when he disconnected the electrical connection to the TBI and had me start it, it roared to life! But then, it promptly stopped again. He tested the spark; nothing wrong there. I wondered if it could have had anything to do with my fill-up at BP that Saturday. He said there was a possibility if sediment in the underground tank had been stirred up. He gave me a bottle of GM fuel system cleaner; hopefully that clears up the problem.

"Terrain View" of a portion of the Nevada Test Site. Yeah, gnarly! The Sedan Crater measures about 1,400 feet wide and 250 feet deep. "Looks good from my house!" Most of these are "subsidence craters." Sedan Crater is not, though. In that case, the explosive device was placed closer to the surface, in order to throw material up and away, as for excavation.
