April 11, 2018 – “Tempest Chained”

No new photos today. So posting one of the other shots I took of the old junker Pontiac Tempest (a 1961?) I posted on 4/6/18. This one makes it a little more clear just how abandoned it looked. And it’s clearer the oddity of the windshield… Though caked in years of dirt and grime, and no easy way to enter do to the weeds growing up over the doors, it seems the windshield wipers have run recently.

I decided to make another application for Under the Big Top, sooooo....

The actual entry is on a transparent background, so that's why I quickly put him onto the makeshift 'stage'.

Hawker Tempest II PR536 (1945) fighter.

The Tempest was an improved derivative of the Hawker Typhoon and at low altitude was the fastest single-engine propeller-driven aircraft of WW2.
