Polaroid 669 (expired 2001)
Exploring Temecula, California with the very first batch of the famed Polaroid 669 film. It gets these lovely blue tones when it gets expired, and I just love the look.
Seen in Temecula, CA. Could be Italian for child; otherwise this is an unusual name for a bakery: BIMBO = "A woman regarded as vacuous or as having an exaggerated interest in her sexual appeal."

So yesterday, 7-17-15 due to a discussion in a Facebook group I belong to, one of the members noticed that there was a bunch of Kmart stores missing from their website, as part of a Facebook discussion I did my research, this is a screenshot of Kmart's website indicating that my local store, Temecula at Palm Plaza was closed!!!
So today, 7-18-15 I went to do research, the store is still open but it's also missing from Kmart's website, now other members are worried as other Kmart stores apparently are now gone from their website...
In reality, Kmart is still open for business in Temecula at Palm Plaza but it's gone from their store website, it now shows Taft, California and Temple City, California as the only stores with ''T'' in California left with Kmart stores, this could just be a snafu or a technical glitch but remember, sometimes stores look like everything's normal and then Jingle-BAM! It's announced that the store will close...
If Kmart DOES close this location, I guess They're gonna miss... the pantry raid!!!
I recently took a little visit to Temecula for lunch with Lisa :) And we're thinking this will be our next stop for a lunch meet up.

In this department, the 5.99$, the 9.99$, the 7.99$ and the left side of the wall (from the pink/melon color shirt to the silver shirt on the left) were all regular price items, everything else had ''clearance'' signs on them, such as the ''Basic Editions'' fixture and the one with the ''Be Relaxed'' sign on it.

Looking to the opposite side of the store, if this Kmart store DOES close, I don't know what other retailer could take over, Big Lots is already in both Murrieta AND Temecula, Dick's Sporting Goods is in Murrieta and Hobby Lobby is already in the same shopping center, only time will tell, this store is as of 7-18-15 still open.
Temecula Rod Run-2013
A small selection from cruise night. The show runs all weekend. If a couple of shots are a bit blurred, it is because the light was fading and I like to show a bit opf motion.
The skies are dark and stormy but it didn't rain while I was there. The wind was blowing and it was chilly, for us at least.

Today I felt like practicing panoramic pictures, so I went up to De Luz to take a photo of Temecula. I wish the view was of something cooler than Temecula, but besides that I am pretty happy with this picture.
However, I love diversifying my ability as a photographer; although I want to specialize in portraits I do not want to be limited to only portraits.
Formerly across the street from the Temecula Promenade at Palm Plaza, The Avenue has been reopened in a new location!
