The country music duo Temecula Road was the opening act for the first ever show at the Hard Rock Live stage in Wheatland, CA.

Sports Authority of Temecula, CA has now entered the liquidation stage, this store is located in the Vail Ranch area of Temecula so I might not be able to take any interor photos as is too far away from my home (Murrieta's Sports Authority is 5 minutes away while Temecula's is 15 or more depending of traffic) and I was in the area today.
Vail Ranch Plaza has Sprouts (former Henry's), Pet's Mart and Sports Authority, now S.A. will be liquidating and leaving an empty shell behind.
Also in the plaza is Temecula's remaining KFC/Long John Silver's, a Jimmy John's, Golden Spoons and Corner Store Bakery, the JJ's and Golden Spoons photo came out bad so I will someday have to retake it. đŸ˜•
Since the liquidation sale just started, only 10% to 30% sales, I'll try and go to Murrieta's S.A. once 50%, 75%, 80% off sales and fixture sales start.

Fixed with Photographers Formulary TF-5 for 5 Minutes.
The grape vines look so naked this time of year. They are so empty. Seems unusual looking to me. In no time at all they'll be full of big leaves. But now it's cool to see the snow covered mountains. Although we've had weeks of very warm sunny weather with no rain/snow for about 5 weeks, the snow persists on the local mountain tops.
When you drive (or fly) around here this is the kind of scenery you see this time of year. But capturing just the right composition to show the interesting agricultural rows as well as snowy peaks took a lot of work. I'm happy with this composition, it took a quite a bit of 'doing' but I feel like this one captured the winter scene here just right, particularly the nakedness of the grapevines. I've passed this area so many times admiring the scenery but I finally stopped to get the photo.

After the Early Bird Launch at the balloon festival on Saturday, we hopped back in the car to follow the balloons as they floated over Temecula’s wine country. We ended up on a dusty, rutted dirt road that paralleled vineyards owned by Wilson Creek and South Coast Wineries, and as we crested a small hill, we could see the balloons coming towards us. I think it was one of my favorite moments of the weekend …. The vines were so green and gorgeous, and it was so serene … all you could hear were the birds singing. I think all four of us just stood there for a moment and took in the scene before we scattered in various directions through the vineyard looking for that perfect view. Even though it was very gray and cloudy, there was some very nice light filtering through the clouds that made this field opposite the vines look almost golden.

Firehouse Sub's are now open!
This sandwich shop is the newest sandwich chain to venture into our area, Subway is in the Promenade food court, Jersey Mike's is across the street at Palm Plaza, Blimpie is sold in the nearby Mobil Mart, Togo's sandwiches are at the Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy John's is across Chick-Fil-A, so if you got a hankering for a sandwich, Temecula has you covered!
A custom mural depicts the iconic Temecula gateway located in Old Town Front Street, a very charming detail that shows that Firehouse Subs embraces our town!
Lemonchello's boutique at the Temecula Promenade is closing!
This Lemonchello's boutique was originally the mall's Saturday Matinée store, when Transworld Entertainment closed both FYE and Saturday Matinee, this store became a clothing store, then when that failed, Toy World Depot moved in but when the owners retired due to high rents; Lemonchello's boutique moved to this, their last location as they are now closing shop and not moving elsewhere.

Temecula CA's Target store, the store is as of 6-22-11 being remodeled, the former garden department is becoming a fresh produce department and they are bringing in more food, this store isn't becoming a Super-T but since Target no longer carries gardening supplies or plants, the chain decided to bring in more food and fresh produce
