Nature spirits can sometimes be seen by humans whose ajna, or third-eye chakra has been enhanced through recitations of specific prayers or mantras. Such mantras increase the harmony of consciousness and telepathy.
At first glance, this is a photo of a little girl in a banana yellow snowsuit, holding a snowball over her head. But what we're actually looking at is a a middle-aged scientist who thought he figured out time travel. Alas, he was only partly right. He could travel through time, but his body stayed in his present time and his consciousness would travel through the timeline. Unfortunately, he was stuck in this body, unable to communicate with the humans of the early 1970s because they spoke in what he would eventually learn was English. Back in his time, humans communicated with telepathy. He learned there were other time travelers, also trapped in bodies that were not their own and unable to communicate outside of their minds.
They started a club in their Head Start class and this photo was taken on one of their workshop weekend retreats where they would work on their communication skills and have snowball fights.
Today's theme in We're Here! has us exercising our fiction muscles for the theme of "The Museum of Found Photographs". (I found this photo in one of my dad's file cabinets and yes, that is actually me in the photo. It was from our first time being stationed in Alaska).
There are more types of nature spirits associated with earth than with any of the other elements. These extraordinary spirits have an enormous variety of sizes from enchanting tiny beings no bigger than a spark of light to great and magnificent mountain spirits. They work with every aspect of material substance. In time, as the earth evolves spiritually, the impulses of the lower archetypes within nature will perfectly match the original flawless angelic archetypal impulses to become an enlightened or perfected garden like Eden. At the physical level, the archetypes will be activated into life by the interaction of all four elements; however the archetypes of earth elementals will be primarily activated by water, which is the closest element to earth in terms of density.

Day 4
In the morning, I went back to the inflow creek that I had crossed over the previous day. It was here that I captured sunrise photos. The grass in places was frosty and crunched underfoot, and my breath condensed around me while the air numbed my fingers. The sun rose behind the hill that I came over the day prior, so it was a long while before I was touched by the sun’s warm rays. But as I photographed, the morning light slowly crept down the ridge to the northwest of Golden Trout Lake. Once I was finally in the sunlight and all the good light and shadows had faded, I headed back to my camp for breakfast.
I did not have very far to go today, so I waited a few hours while my batteries charged on the solar panel. Once that was finished, I grabbed my pack and headed out for the next lake (I will not give its name; you will understand why later). While traversing the northern tip of Golden Trout Lake, tiny frogs hopped away from each of my footsteps. Soon, I came to Golden Trout's outflow, crossed over a jumble of boulders, and reached the other side. From here on, my goal was to reach all the lakes in all the cirques nestled within the eastern slope of the glacial divide.
As I made my way north, the creek I was following tumbled and fell down into Piute Canyon. I stayed up high along the rim and tried to take the route with the least amount of elevation gain and loss, since it was only a 100-foot difference between Golden Trout and the next lake.
Piute Canyon is not like the Grand Canyon with its sheer cliffs—it is a gently sloping valley heavily forested with pine. Yet, my map called it a canyon.
With little effort, I reached the hanging valley that held the next lake. I turned into the valley and started making my way to the massive headwall at the far end. Along the way, I passed many scattered ponds until I finally reached the wide spreading lake I was aiming for. I found a campsite beneath some pines, not far away from the shoreline. Here, I took my pack and shoes off, had some lunch, and took a nap. Big gusts of wind occasionally sent the pines into a frenzy, but as the afternoon set in, the wind blew less and less until it was just a light breeze.
During this time, I could see—though not with my physical eyes (but not with my imagination either)—a family tribe of Sasquatch hanging out on the far shore, their children running with long strides up and down the sloping lakeshore, ducking and dodging behind and between groves of pines. There are many Sasquatch tribes here in the Sierra, and I have had many interactions with them; all were positive so far.
Through telepathy, or consciousness communication, I made myself known to this tribe to let them know I was here and not a threat. In previous encounters, I would get back a warm, curious feeling, since most humans don’t communicate with them in this way. But in this particular situation, I got nothing back—not even the slightest recognition of receiving my greeting.
The Sasquatch are not completely physical as we are, but they are not entirely nonphysical either. Rather, they “bridge the gap” between the two. They are primarily nonphysical but can choose to lower their vibration to drop down into the physical. (If this doesn’t make sense, that’s fine.) What is in both at the same time is their’s (and our) consciousness. We can communicate with each other through consciousness.
Maybe you have been backpacking or traveling cross-country in remote forests or mountains and, all of a sudden, felt uneasy, like you shouldn’t be there and need to leave—but nothing is seen, only felt. That was most likely a Sasquatch parent or elder warning you to stay away because their family and children were nearby.
“But if they’re not entirely physical, what’s the problem?” you may ask. Well, the young juvenile ones haven’t learned how to control their physical and nonphysical transition very well yet, while the adults have. That’s what happened to me at this lake.
I thought I would explore a little bit and look for a better campsite, and I found one with the most spectacular view of any campsite I have ever had in the Sierra. Situated on a small finger of land that jutted out into the lake near the outflow was a stand of small pines—not yet big enough to block the view of the lake and headwall, but big enough to block the wind, provide shade, and hold the warmth in at night while still allowing a clear view of the stars. In the middle of the grove was a cleared flat patch of ground, perfect for setting up a sleeping area without a tent. So, I went back to gather my gear and move to the new spot.
After depositing my gear in the new spot, I thought I’d try to walk around the lake to reach some small ponds on the far shore that lay even closer to the massive headwall of the cirque. Just behind my campsite, there was an area of many broken trees that I paid little attention to. But as I walked through them, I got that uncomfortable feeling I explained previously, as a chill went up my spine, made my hair stood on end, and goosebumps appeared. The air became heavy and I found it hard to breathe. I turned around and got out of there as quickly as I could and went back to my new campsite.
Immediately, it felt better there, but it was brief because not long after arriving back at my new campsite, the uneasy feeling followed me. Whoever caused it I could not see, but I could feel their presence and intention which was, “Go away!”
Using a strong, firm voice, I told them to “Stay away.” But, despite that, they kept trying to creep closer and closer. Eventually, I told them, “I will leave, but let me pack up my stuff first.” I also told them that I would leave and not come back and I would warn others not to come here.
I packed up my things and headed back to my original campsite, feeling as though whoever was trying to chase me away followed me. I kept telling them, “I’m leaving—go away. Let me leave in peace.” The feeling left me once I reached my original campsite. Before I completely left the lake, I offered to play a song on my flute as an offering of peace. Once the song was over, the heaviness lifted, and things felt more at peace.
During this entire encounter, I had been filming with my GoPro, and as soon as the song finished, my GoPro made a crackling noise, glitched out, and froze. (It had never done this before.) Then, I left and headed away from this lake as quickly as I could.
I was not far away when I received, through consciousness communication, what I perceived as an invitation to come back and that they had misjudged me. I declined the offer, saying that after what I just experienced, I did not feel comfortable going back—and if I really could, and it was safe, you would have to prove it. I continued on. While filming my retreat, the GoPro glitched a second time.
It was at a small pond, not too far away, that was situated along the outflow creek that I stopped. It was there that I felt as though I had entered a safe place and set up my camp on a flat, open area in the middle of the forest, not too far away from the small pond. Here, I photographed the sunset and sunrise the following .
(I can’t help but wonder what would’ve happened if I had accepted the invitation to return. Would I have finally had a physical, face-to-face encounter with a Sasquatch? Would they have been friendly after my peace offering of the song? I may never know, as I promised never to return to that lake.)
Every form is built with a model traced for it and reflected in the Divine Mind. There are hierarchies of builders of form, creating a series within tangible degrees, from the highest to the lowest. While the former are shaped under the guidance of the builders, the latter are fashioned by the elementals or nature spirits. Even the lowest stages of form are due to an inner and higher intelligence, regardless of the effect that outside forces may have upon it. From the acorn will grow an oak, and this oak, as a tree, may have many forms, all of which will vary from the other oak trees. All these forms are contained within the acorn, and though the form which the tree will take depends on extraneous circumstances, it exists beforehand in an astral plane before it becomes a phenomenon. However, the noumena germ of the oak exists beyond the astral plane, developing from higher to lower planes, until on the lowest plane it has its last consolidation and development of form. Prior to this stage all form is voidness. The plant, to a certain extent, exhausts itself in the shape-forming force. During its life it goes on constantly adding new forms to itself. First it sends out the root, then the leaf-structure, then the flowers, and so on. Such are the laws of karma as witnessed in the legions of Gaia.

Fairy circles have an historical reputation as revealed by the folklore and warnings surrounding them. Various places have their own superstitions surrounding the fairy rings, but for the most part the myths involve fairies or supernatural creatures either dancing around the ring, or suggesting that the ring serves as a portal between the fairy realm and the human world. It is also believed that the circles were formed by shooting stars, lightning strikes, or were the work of witches.
Elementals consume a material which wields energy of a transmissive nature from the surrounding ethers. By imbibing this material’s vitality, these beings compress this substance and emit it in sudden and vigorous pulses to concentrate the vibrancy of the material’s dynamism. They use this vibrant dynamism to pound the surrounding rocks and create new soil as nourishment for the plant kingdom.

English:
A fata morgana, Italian translation of Morgan le Fay, the fairy shapeshifting half-sister of King Arthur, is a mirage, an optical phenomenon which results from a temperature inversion.
Fata Morgana are usually seen in the morning after a cold night which has resulted in the radiation of heat into space. In this form of mirage, objects on the horizon or even beyond the horizon, such as islands, cliffs, ships or icebergs, appear elongated and elevated, like "fairy tale castles".
The way this mirage is caused is this: in calm weather, when warm air lies over cold dense air near the surface of the ground, the undisturbed interface between these two air masses can act as a refracting lens, producing an upside-down image, over which the distant direct image appears to hover.
The first mention of the "Fata Morgana" phenomenon in English was in 1818, when this type of mirage was observed in the Strait of Messina, between Calabria and Sicily. It is also commonly seen in high mountain valleys, such as the San Luis Valley of Colorado where the effect is exaggerated due to the curvature of the floor of the valley canceling out the curvature of the Earth. These mirages are also seen in Arctic seas on very still mornings, and are common on Antarctic ice shelves.
Fata Morgana are superior mirages. Superior mirages are distinct from the more common inferior mirages, which create the illusion of distant pools of water in the desert and on hot roads.

The Coreoleans - The Language Of Silence by Daniel Arrhakis (2025)
With the music : AETHERION || 1 Hour Ambient by Temple Of Serenity
Coreoleans - An ancient mystic enigmatic Order of Krudhyn. The Coreoleans use always a mask and they also make a "vote of silence".
The Order was founded by Arthemys, a powerful mystic, whose principles and moral teachings based on equality and the defense of the poorest and most vulnerable became a nuisance for the established powers.
Imprisoned and tortured, they burned his face and blinded him so that it would serve as an example and remain disfigured, forcing him to wear a mask. Deprived of his sight and with a deformed face, he developed other senses, notably the telepathy.
Later the mask served to hide the burns on his face but also to not be recognized, since then all who belong to the order always use a mask in honor of its founder and make a "Vote Of Silence".
Some of its members and masters have over time also developed the power to communicate and influence others with thoughts, in a form of telepathy or a silent language.

Composite Superman first appeared in World's Finest Comics No.142 back in 1964! ...And what a wackadilly wtf kind of character he is!
Silver Age DC villains were always the kookiest! “Hey, you know what's hip with the readers? Batman and Superman! Why don't we slap 'em together? And you know what else? Give 'em ALL THE POWERS!”
Granted this line of thinking wasn't too far out of the normal (at the time). But man, his original origin is just bonkers (and not in a good way). Let's see if I can summarize this a little....
Okay so in “WFC No.142” there's this fella named Joseph Meach and he's a “Professional Highdiver”! (Like, the guy jumps from big heights into water for a living). Anyway, he pulls a stunt in Metropolis and Superman saves him from a leaky pool with low water. Superman then independently gives him a job as a Janitor for The Superman Museum (to help him out or whatever).
One day Meach is mopping the floor or next to The Legion of Superheroes Statuette Exhibit (that were created very over complicatedly by a Duplicator Ray).
...Yes you read that correctly ...Mini Frozen Clones of Superheroes from The Future IN A 1964 MUSEUM!
Still with me? :P
Okay so while Joseph is cleaning around these things, in comes The Silver Age with a Lighting bolt that conveniently comes in through an open window, strikes the table with all the little Legionnaire's, and Meach gets every single one of their power's, plus Brainiac 5's Green Skin. Ad of course with these new powers, he shape-shift's into a costume combo of Supes and Bat's.
So what does he do with these new powers? He goes up to the Bat-Plane, blows it up, then asks if he can team up with Superman, Batman, and Robin. And like jerks, the three of them are like “No way man! You just broke our plane and now you wanna be friends?”
So he's like, “Well fine! I'll just reveal your secret identities! Because that's one of my powers, to see through masks! Oh also I have telepathy... so yeah take that!”
Anyway, shenanigans ensue. He basically just tries to makes Bats, Supes, and Robin look bad, like turning falling debris into Kryptonite (transforming matter was just another power of his). He also did things like cutting Bats and Robin's climbing ropes while they were in pursuit of criminals. Eventually the three heroes defeat him by... well... actually they don't....
In the end, Composite Superman's powers vaguely fade away and Meach goes back to being a sad Janitor with no memories of what happened.
*sigh*
Yep.
Well anyway, Composite Superman showed up briefly here and there throughout The Silver Age leading into The Bronze Age, and by WFC No.283 and No.284, Joseph Meach was no longer a highdiver, but retconed (probably because of Crisis on Infinite Earths) to be just an innocent Superman Museum Janitor that's struck by Silver Age lighting and gains the powers of the Legion of Superheroes. A little simpler, yes, but PLOT TWIST! It's actually some crazy alien dude named Amalgamax! What?!
After that, Composite Superman disappeared again for awhile. There was one time during the Batman/Superman Public Enemies event, where Toyman made a giant mecha look-a-like of the character. Even a version of Composite Superman was created by Mr Mxyzptlk at one point as well! Also this character kinda makes a cameo in the Justice League Animated Series with Wonder Woman's voice! :)
...Anyway, now that we're up to speed!
Superman/Batman Annual No.3 is a really good read! Len Wein (RIP) retconned the character to be a Science Experiment of Professor Ivo, where Ivo wanted to clone all The Justice League, but screwed it up somehow and then a (I don't want to say Zombie, but he does come out of a grave) Zombie Composite Superman wreaks havock and pranks Supes and Bats, plus he also fights Two-Face at one point! He then later kidnaps Lois Lane and Robin (Tim Drake) and then... well I shouldn't spoil it because when I read the last page I lost my mind! :P
Read that book, if not any of the others, because it's REALLY good! :)
That book is actually where this (Brother's Figure/TT Games) design originates, focusing on Chris Batista's yellow “stitching” down the center and the Batman side being Black/Dark Grey rather than the traditional Blue/Light Grey.
But anyway, that's the cover I tried to re-create. Plus some history (that has some serious holes in it) about a character that no one really cared about!
I'm impressed if you read any of that! :P

The Mad Titan. Think of the horror of an insane sociopath who only desires to kill and destroy, possessing deviant cunning to the highest degree, and a compass so twisted that he justifies his actions. Now, imagine that sociopath with power beyond reckoning.
Thanos was one of the last sons of A'Lars, progenitor of the second colony of Eternals on Titan, and Sui-San, the last survivor of the original settlement of Eternals in this moon. He was born with purple, hide-like skin and a massive body due to his Deviant Syndrome.
Thanos grew up to have an introvert nature, but despite this and his unusual appearance, Thanos was well accepted by his peers. He was a mild-mannered intellectual that dreamed of becoming a scientist like his neglectful father.
However, signs of his true nature started to creep up early on. For instance, he liked to draw dead animals despite vomiting at the prospect of performing a dissection.
Thanos' life reached a tipping point when a mysterious girl convinced him to explore with his friends a dangerous cave to overcome his fear of killing.
A cave-in separated Thanos from his friends for three days, during which he refused to even think of murdering the inoffensive creatures that lurked underground for sustenance.
When he found his friends, they had been killed by the animals living in the caves. After Thanos returned to society, the same girl convinced him to go back to the cave and slaughter the creatures in revenge.
By the time he was a teenager, Thanos excelled academically and learned faster than he was ever taught. He began to vivisect creatures in secret in order to gain knowledge while searching for an answer to his abnormal genetic makeup.
The girl that had helped him overcome his fear of killing became his confidante. Thanos' search for answers escalated into killing fellow Titanians, carrying out the first murders in the history of Titan. Despite declaring that his first two murders were going to be the last, Thanos eventually killed again, and found out that he enjoyed it.
Thanos fell in love with his confidante, who enabled and further motivated and Thanos' actions, but she rejected his advances.
After murdering seventeen people in total, Thanos killed his mother in hopes of finding in her body the key to who he was, both spiritually and physically.
At some point, Mephisto approached Thanos and convinced him to go to Earth and fight the Avengers. He left Titan afterwards, swore off killing, and found a menial job with a pirate crew with whom he explored the cosmos.
As years went by, Thanos became detached and unemotional. In many different planets, he would try to find romantic interests, in hopes to feel something again, to no avail. He always abandoned them.
Thanos eventually came into conflict with his captain in the pirate crew due to his disinclination for murdering. In an act of complete instinct, Thanos killed him, and subsequently seized control of his crew.
Thanos decided to embrace his murdering nature, and returned to Titan in secret. He was approached by his old confidante and tried to court her again. She demanded that Thanos proved he belonged only to her, so he embarked on a journey to kill all of his offspring, and razed every planet they stumbled upon for the sake of his love for death.
Additionally, Thanos experimented on his own body, granting himself a variety of powers. Thanos' confidante became his companion, and eventually declared that for her to love Thanos, he would have to become a god, a supreme destroyer above all else.
After Thanos discovered that none in his crew could see her, she revealed her true nature, that she was the physical manifestation of Death itself. Driven mad by this revelation, Thanos gave in to Death's promises of romance and used his fleet to ravage Titan.
Once his armada bombarded Titan, Thanos personally descended to murder the survivors. He was confronted by the elder A'Lars, who managed to make Thanos doubt whether Death was actually by his side or if he was simply demented.
Thanos spared his father solely so he could watch his son defile the cosmos and prove his sanity. Death finally kissed Thanos, but he found her embrace to be cold. Without his thirst quenched, Thanos continued his journey of destruction.
This began Thanos' continued quests for greater power, culminating in his acquisition of the Soul Gems, which he renamed the Infinity Gems.
The embodiment of death has never existed outside of Thanos' tormented mind but, with his great power, that has proven to be a distinction of little relevance.
Thanos is a mutant member of the race of superhumans known as the Titanian Eternals. The character possesses abilities common to the Eternals, but amplified to a higher degree through a combination of his mutant–Eternal heritage, bionic amplification, mysticism, and power bestowed by the abstract entity, Death.
Demonstrating enormous superhuman strength, speed, stamina, immortality and invulnerability among other qualities, Thanos can absorb and project vast quantities of cosmic energy, and is capable of telekinesis and telepathy. He can manipulate matter and live indefinitely without food, air or water, cannot die of old age, is immune to all terrestrial diseases, and has high resistance to psychic assaults.
Thanos is also an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant, having been trained in the art of war on Titan.
Thanos has proven himself capable of briefly holding his own in battle against Odin, and of blasting Galactus off his feet.
Thanos is a supergenius in virtually all known fields of advanced science and has created technology far exceeding that which is found on contemporary Earth. He often employs a transportation chair capable of space flight, force field projection, teleportation, time travel, and movement through alternate universes.
Thanos is also a master strategist and uses several space vessels, at least three under the name "Sanctuary", as a base of operations.

This painting, (and 3 others) will be shown and sold at this years "ART BASEL MIAMI" in Miami Florida December 4 - 7, ( www.artbaselmiamibeach.com/go/id/ss/ ) If you are interested in the purchase of this piece, please e-m to rsconnett@gmail.com
This painting illustrates some of my fancies about human communication in a higher age of human evolution. I dream of communicating "empathically" through technological enhancements to our abilities. Empathy is superior to telepathy, and certainly to verbal language. It is to communicate with emotion. This would be a grand language! There would be little chance of misunderstanding.
I've been reading about "Transhumanisum" … "A term often used as a synonym for "human enhancement". Also known as "Posthumanisum".
It is an international, intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of science and technology to enhance human mental and physical abilities and aptitudes, and overcome what it regards as undesirable and unnecessary aspects of the human condition, such as disability, suffering, disease, aging, and involuntary death." (quoted from Wikipedia; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transhumanism)
I've been concerned about death since I was a child. It's been a great motivator for me. Death is the greatest betrayal of life! Just when you begin to get good at it, you die!? Isn't that a bit of a "GYP"?
All through the history of mankind people have found ways to "make peace" with death. What choice have we? From the first historical records we find reference to death and "afterlife" Religions were invented (in part) to answer the question of the greatest human tragedy, our own death.
What could possibly be worse than death? Yes, life can become terrible in many ways, and one might welcome death under certain circumstances. I certainly agree with this. My father died a terrible death as a result of a more terrible state of life. So, I understand. However, when life is still vital. When we want our life to go on, to do more, it is indeed a tragedy beyond any other to die! This is premature death! And I believe most people die prematurely.
There are those who believe that life can be sustained in good health and sharp mentality through the use of technology. These are the Transhumanists. One whom I most admire is Ray Kurzweil. He has 'almost' convinced me that it will be possible to not only live longer, but to become much more than who we currently are. He belives we can transcend our own current biological state. And indeed, it is our duty to do so! It's a matter of evolve or die! It always has been. Now, it is up to us to take the next evolutionary step through our talents of invention. We can no longer rely of biological evolution to save our species.
The merging of human biology and human technology is the next step in human evolution. This is why the robots will not revolt; we WILL BE the robots!
In the same way that the first man invented a tool, or utilized energy (fire) to improve and extend his existence, we shall embrace and merge with technology as the next step in human evolution. It may be a bit late for me, (and that pisses me off!) but I continue on with a glimmer of hope. I have little hope for existence beyond the grave, though I keep an open mind to all things.
It would be wonderful to be free from the world we live in now, and enter a new phase of existence. I would live in a world where the only limitations are imagination.
In my own small way, this is the world which I do my utmost to live in now. It is not always so easy. Oft times the grim hands of reality swoop down to pluck me from my reveries. I spend my days toiling by the "sweat of my brow", being the accursed white Christian that I am :)

The Contact Series of LEGO built creations was designed to promote the beauty of all intelligent life forms as extensions of our family – children under the same creative force.
This is a story where human consciousness rediscovers the art of intuition and the subtle – but powerful – forces of the universe. Here, groups of modern humans use ancient rituals which – in combination with expanded consciousness – initiates communication with the great space faring cultures of the universe. Vectoring extraterrestrial beings to their position on earth, these humans invite the visitors to help heal the planet through the ETs' transformative powers and bring the greater Earth community closer to the spiritual nature of the universe.
In the Contact Series, war, self interest and materialistic thinking are products of the less evolved species – such as humans. While there are others like us in the universe, the vast collection of sentient beings spread throughout the universe have either evolved beyond this or never had concepts as these in their culture.
Understanding the spiritual nature and properties of the universe helps societies to unlock powerful forces which greatly improve the quality of life. The forces include out of body travel (astral travel), healing, telepathy with all life forms (including plants and animals), weather control, trans location, space travel, instant plant growth, materialization of objects through sound and thought and much more. Generally speaking, what we perceive as supernatural, paranormal or miraculous are simply expressions of this power. The most spiritually advanced of the cultures have evolved close to celestial.
All advanced technologies dovetail into this spiritual story. For example, traveling beyond home systems is only possible through a combination of advanced electronics and consciousness expansion. Ships are manufactured conscious entities which interface with star travelers. Forged in the astral realm through pure tones, these living trans dimensional transport vehicles fold out of linear space time allowing for movement at the speed of consciousness – which is limitless.
Now for the catch. In order to access and interface in this manner, one must resonate at a high frequency (or of kindness). Malevolent levels of consciousness simply cannot access this kind of advancement. For this reason, interstellar war is not an option. Ships have no weapons. The vast multitude of sentient, space faring races keep track of lower evolved, spiritually empty races that enter atomic and space ages. Quarantines are put up around such planets to maintain peace in local areas of space. Missions to neutralize atomic weapons are part of the quarantine process. And so it is with earth…
Future 'Contact' works will feature celebrations of expanded consciousness, loving and caring moments of ETs, contact events and other celebration from our brothers and sisters throughout the universe.

Jean Elaine Grey was born the second daughter of John and Elaine Grey. She had an older sister, Sara Grey-Bailey. John Grey was a professor at Bard College in upstate New York. Depictions of Jean's childhood and her relations with her family have shown a stable, loving family life growing up.
Emergence of powers and joining the X-Men
Jean's mutant powers of telepathy and telekinesis first manifest when her best friend is hit by a car and killed. Jean mentally links with her friend and nearly dies as well. The event leaves her comatose, and she is brought back to consciousness when her parents seek the help of powerful mutant telepath, Charles Xavier. Xavier blocks her telepathy until she is old enough to be able to control it, leaving her with access only to her telekinetic powers.
Xavier later recruits her as a teenager to be part of his X-Men team as "Marvel Girl", the team's sole female member. After several missions with the X-Men, Xavier removes Jean's mental blocks and she is able to use and control her telepathic powers. She begins a relationship with teammate Cyclops, which persists as her main romantic relationship, though she also develops a mutual secret attraction to a later addition to the team, Wolverine.
Phoenix Force and first death
During an emergency mission in space, the X-Men find their shuttle damaged. Jean pilots the shuttle back to Earth, but is exposed to fatal levels of radiation. Dying, but determined to save Cyclops and her friends, Jean calls out for help and is answered by the cosmic entity, the Phoenix Force.
The Phoenix Force, one of the most powerful life forces in the universe, is moved by Jean's wish to save herself and her friends. It takes the form of a duplicate body to house Jean's psyche. The duplication is so exact that the Phoenix Force believes itself to be Jean Grey, and places Jean's dying body in a healing cocoon. This cocoon is later described as a Phoenix Egg.
The ship crashes in Jamaica Bay, with the other X-Men unharmed. The Phoenix Force, as Jean Grey, emerges in a new costume and adopts the new codename "Phoenix", with immense cosmic powers. Meanwhile, the cocoon containing the real Jean Grey sinks to the bottom of the bay, unnoticed.
Phoenix continues her life as Jean Grey with the other X-Men, joining them on missions and saving the universe. During "The Dark Phoenix Saga", Phoenix becomes overwhelmed and corrupted by her first taste of evil and transforms into a force of total destruction, called "Dark Phoenix", inadvertently killing the inhabitants of a planetary system, after consuming its star, and jeopardizing the entire universe. However, Jean's personality manages to take control and Phoenix commits suicide to ensure the universe's safety.
Revival
Upon its suicide by way of a disintegration ray, the Phoenix Force disperses into its original form and a fragment locates the still-healing Jean at the bottom of Jamaica Bay. In trying to bond with her, Jean senses its memories of death and destruction as Dark Phoenix and rejects it, causing it to bond with and animate a lifeless clone of Jean Grey created by the villain Mister Sinister.
Sinister created the clone to couple with Cyclops to create genetically superior mutants. Named "Madelyne Pryor", the unaware clone meets Cyclops in a situation engineered by Sinister and the two fall in love, marry, and have a child, Nathan Christopher Summers. Meanwhile, the cocoon is discovered and retrieved by the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. Jean emerges with no memory of the actions of the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix.
The Avengers and Fantastic Four tell her of what happened and that she was believed dead until now. She is reunited with the original X-Men and convinces them to form the new superhero team X-Factor, reusing her "Marvel Girl" codename.
Madelyne is angered over Cyclops's decision to lead X-Factor and neglect his family. Though Jean encourages Cyclops to return to Madelyne, he finds their house abandoned and assumes that Madelyne has left him and taken their infant son.
Cyclops returns to X-Factor and he and Jean continue their relationship, but the Phoenix Force's impersonation, and his marrying Madelyne, damaged their mutual trust. The team's adventures continue throughout the series, culminating in the line-wide "Inferno" crossover. Madelyne reappears, now nearly insane and with powers awakened by a demonic pact, calling herself the Goblyn Queen.
Learning of her true identity and purpose as a clone created by Mister Sinister drove her completely insane and she plans to sacrifice Nathan Christopher to achieve greater power and unleash literal Hell on Earth. While attempting to stop her, Jean is reunited with the other X-Men, who are happy to learn that she is alive, particularly Wolverine, reminding Jean of her unaddressed feelings for him.
Jean and Madelyne confront each other, and Madelyne attempts to kill them both. Jean manages to survive only by absorbing the remnant of the Phoenix Force housed within Madelyne, giving her both Madelyne's memories and the Phoenix's memories from "The Dark Phoenix Saga".
Return to the X-Men and marriage to Cyclops
Unsure of herself since returning to life, Jean finds possessing the Phoenix Force and Madelyne's memories to be difficult. Cyclops proposes to her and she meets her alternate future daughter Rachel Summers (who goes by the codename "Phoenix" as well and is also able to tap into the Phoenix Force), but Jean rejects them both out of the feeling that they indicate that her life is predetermined.
Jean had learned during the Inferno event that her rejecting the Phoenix Force caused Madelyne to wake; Cyclops admits to Susan Storm Richards that Jean sometimes wishes that the Fantastic Four had not found her, and that he does not know how to communicate with her.
When X-Factor unites with the X-Men, Jean joins the Gold Team, led by Storm. During this time, she no longer uses a codename, instead being referred to by her civilian name. After some time, she makes up with Rachel, welcoming her into her life, and proposes to Cyclops and the two marry.
On their honeymoon, the couple is immediately psychically transported 2000 years into the future to raise Cyclops's son Nathan, who had been transported to the future as an infant in hopes of curing him of a deadly virus. Jean adopts the identity of "Redd" along with Cyclops ("Slym") and they raise Nathan Christopher for twelve years before they are sent back into their bodies on their wedding honeymoon.
Jean learns that a time-displaced Rachel had used her powers to transport them to the future to protect Nathan, and per Rachel's request, Jean adopts the codename "Phoenix" once again to establish it as a symbol of good after all the bad it had caused.
Meanwhile, her psychic and telekinetic abilities begin to grow and she begins using the iconic green and gold Phoenix costume again. Jean also met another alternate future child of hers and Scott's: the immensely powerful Nathan Grey, who accidentally revived the psionic ghost of Madelyne Pryor, leading to another confrontation between the two women.
Onslaught
In Bishop's original timeline before he ends up in the present he finds the X-Men's war room and finds a garbled distress signal from Jean about a traitor destroying the X-Men from within. Meanwhile, in the present, the X-Men begin to hear increasing news about a malevolent entity called Onslaught.
Jean first sees Onslaught as a psionic image with the rest of the X-Men after Onslaught coerces Gateway to kidnap Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman. He later appears to her again in a similar way after rescuing her and Gambit from Bastion and offers her a chance to join him.
Onslaught makes his first full appearance to Jean on the astral plane and shows her how humanity is closing in on mutants as well as revealing that Xavier was in love with her while she was a student to convince her to join him. He then telepathically brands his name to her mind when she refused and asks him his name.
When Juggernaut comes to the mansion with information about Onslaughts true identity but has a mental block preventing him from divulging it, Jean enters his mind and helps him to remember who Onslaught really is and to her horror she discovers that Onslaught is really Professor X, having gone insane ever since wiping Magneto's mind.
Professor Xavier calls the X-Men together for a meeting and Jean tries unsuccessfully to rally the X-Men against him before he manifests Onslaught. While Onslaught easily overtakes the rest of the X-Men, Jean escapes to the war room and sends out the distress signal that Bishop found in the future.
After a massive battle against Jean and the rest of the X-Men, Onslaught escapes to carry out his plans. After Onslaught nearly kills the X-Men they team up with the Avengers to make a plan to stop him, knowing full well that it may come down to them killing Xavier if the world is to survive.
Jean accompanies Cyclops, Archangel, and Psylocke to Muir Island where they and Moira McTaggert discover the Xavier Protocols, secret plans that Xavier made to kill any of the individual X-Men should anyone become a threat against the world. Meanwhile,
Jean's earlier distress signal makes it to X-Factor, Excalibur, and X-Force. After returning to New York, Jean works closely with Reed Richards to help build up defenses against Onslaught as well as to help create the psionic armor that could block Xavier's telepathic powers as seen in the Xavier Protocols.
When Jean senses that Xavier has been freed from Onslaught and is going to confront him on his own, she and Cyclops bring together the rest of the X-Men to back him up. The rest of the Avengers and Fantastic Four join them in a final stand against Onslaught before he completely destroys the world.
In a final act of desperation Jean finds Hulk and locks away Bruce Banner's mind, leaving only the Hulk in control so he can fight Onslaught unencumbered. With the vast majority of earth's heroes missing and assumed dead after Onslaught is finally defeated, Jean and Cyclops open their home to Quicksilver and his daughter and try to help the X-Men to get their lives back together.
New X-Men
Following Cyclops's possession by the mutant villain Apocalypse and apparent death, Jean continues with the X-Men, but is distraught by the loss of her husband. She later learns that she is an "Omega-level" mutant with unlimited potential.
Jean begins to suspect that Cyclops may still be alive and with the help of Nathan Summers (now the aged superhero "Cable"), is able to locate and free Cyclops of his possession by Apocalypse. The couple return to the X-Men as part of the Xavier Institute's teaching staff to a new generation of mutants.
While Jean finds she is slowly able to tap into the powers of the Phoenix Force once again, her marriage to Scott begins to fail. Jean and Wolverine address their long-unspoken mutual attraction, deciding it is best not to act on their feelings; Cyclops grows further alienated from Jean due to her growing powers and institute responsibilities and seeks consolation from the telepathic Emma Frost to address his disillusionment and his experiences while possessed by Apocalypse.
These therapy sessions lead to a "psychic affair" between Scott and Emma. Jean's discovery of the psychic affair results in a confrontation between her and Emma, though ultimately Jean realizes that Emma truly loves Scott.
Second death
In a final confrontation with a traitor at the institute (the X-Men's teammate Xorn, posing as Magneto) Jean fully realizes and assumes complete control of the powers of the Phoenix Force, but is killed in a last-ditch lethal attack by Xorn.
Jean dies, telling Scott "to live". However, after her funeral, Scott rejects Emma and her offer to run the school together. This creates a dystopian future where all life and natural evolution is under assault by the infectious, villainous, sentient bacteria "Sublime".
Jean is resurrected in this future timeline and becomes the fully realized White Phoenix of the Crown, using the abilities of the Phoenix Force to defeat Sublime and eliminate the dystopic future by reaching back in time and telling Cyclops to move on.
This leads him to accept Emma's love and her offer to run the school together. Jean then reconciles with Cyclops and fully bonds with the Phoenix Force and ascends to a higher plane of existence called the "White Hot Room".
Endsong
A weakened Phoenix Force returns to reanimate Jean. Jean tries to convince the Phoenix Force to let her go so they can return to the White Hot Room together, but once again the Phoenix Force takes over. Jean lets Wolverine find her and tries to convince him to kill her again before the Phoenix does more damage.
The Shi'ar track the Phoenix Force and make an alliance with Storm to find her and defeat her. Jean takes Wolverine to the North Pole before the Shi'ar can kill her and convinces him to kill her. He stabs her numerous times but Phoenix keeps reanimating her, prompting Jean to dive deep into the ice and freeze herself.
The Phoenix Force leaves her body and once again assumes Jean's form to tempt Cyclops to attack her so she can absorb his optic blasts and become strong again. When the Phoenix Force merges with and overwhelms Emma Frost, Cyclops frees Jean from the ice. Once freed Jean ejects the Phoenix from Emma and accepts that she is one with the Phoenix Force.
After feeling the love from the X-Men, the Phoenix relents and returns with Jean back to the White Hot Room. Before she departs, Jean and Cyclops share a telepathic emotional farewell.
Postmortem manifestations
Though she had yet to fully return, the Phoenix Force and Jean continued to manifest themselves, particularly the Phoenix through the red-haired, green-eyed "mutant messiah" who slightly resembles Jean named Hope Summers, and Jean briefly appears in a vision to Emma Frost from the White Hot Room, warning the X-Men to "prepare".
She again appears in a vision to Cyclops when he is overwhelmed by the power of Dark Phoenix, helping him abandon the power so that it can pass on to its true host. After Nightcrawler is fatally wounded by the Crimson Pirates, Jean appears to him along with Amanda Sefton and the recently deceased Wolverine to help coax him back to life.
Jean's spirit begins to manifest in a more straightforward and aggressive manner to the time-displaced Jean from an alternate timeline, seemingly training her for the arrival of the Phoenix. However, after the younger Jean begins to ignore her, she possesses the time displaced Jean and uses her as a means to ambush Emma Frost.
Return
Strange psych occurrences around the world, which include a large bird flaring out from the sun and an explosion on the moon, raise red flags for the X-Men, who quickly launch an investigation of these events.
After a string of bizarre encounters with familiar enemies, many of them considered deceased, the X-Men come to one conclusion: the Phoenix Force is back on Earth. The X-Men also discover that psychics are going missing or falling ill, which prompts the team to investigate the grave of Jean Grey. As they find the coffin of their long-dead teammate empty, they race to locate the Phoenix before it can find a suitable host.
As it turns out, with the time-displaced teen Jean Grey out of the Phoenix Force's way, the cosmic entity has already resurrected the present adult Jean Grey. However, she doesn't recall her life as a mutant and an X-Man, and terrible visions from her previous life have left Jean unsure of the difference between reality and fiction.
As she lies inside of what appears to be a Phoenix Egg, the X-Men theorize that the strange psych occurrences are subconscious cries for help made by Jean Grey and that they must try to stop the Phoenix from merging with their old friend.
Old Man Logan is able to make Jean Grey remember her true life and she learns about the fate of her family and several of her friends, among them Cyclops. As Jean faces the Phoenix Force, she is finally able to convince the cosmic entity to stop bringing her back and let her go. Alive once again, Jean is reunited with her friends as the Phoenix Force journeys back to space.
Restored to life, Jean gathers some of the greatest minds on Earth together so that she can read their minds to plan her next move. Recognizing that there has been a sudden surge in anti-mutant sentiment, to the point where there are plans to abort pregnancies if the mutant gene is detected, Jean announces her plans to establish a more official mutant nation, making it clear that she will not establish a geographic location for said nation as past examples make it clear that doing so just makes mutants a target. To support her in this goal, she assembles a team including Nightcrawler, X-23 and Namor, but is unaware that her actions are being observed by Cassandra Nova.
House of X / Dawn of X
The adult Jean returns to using her original Marvel Girl codename and wears her second green-and-yellow Marvel Girl costume. She is sent as part of a strike team to outer space to stop a satellite near the sun from being used as a Sentinel factory.
Sentinels crush Jean's escape pod and she dies, but is resurrected into a cloned body. She is also a member of the Quiet Council, Krakoa's provisional government. Following the events of House of X, Jean briefly joins the Krakoan incarnation of X-Force, before resigning in protest of Beast's actions in Terra Verde.
Following through the tournament for the new host of the Phoenix Force, the Phoenix chose Maya Lopez, the hero known as Echo. As Maya, Jean Grey called out to her from Krakoa with a word of advice.
After Maya took on the Phoenix Force, Jean ordered Wolverine to leave her alone and return home, as he said he would kill anyone who took on the Phoenix Force. She then reached out to Maya as she flew off, and told the young woman not to go on this journey alone as the Phoenix prefers loners and isolated figures it can better influence to carry out its own agenda. Jean also told Maya if she wants to keep her soul as the new Phoenix, she has to make the Phoenix her own.
Powers and abilities
Jean Grey is an Omega-level mutant, and at her highest and strongest potential was fully merged with the Phoenix Force and with it was able to defeat even Galactus.
Empathy
Jean is a powerful empath, as she can feel and manipulate emotions of other people, as shown when her power first emerged as she felt her friend Annie Richardson slowly dying. Jean can also connect people's minds to the feelings of others and make them feel the pain they inflicted.
Telepathy
When her powers first manifested, Jean was unable to cope with her telepathic abilities, forcing Professor Charles Xavier to suppress her access to it altogether. Instead, he chose to train her in the use of her psychokinetic abilities while allowing her telepathy to grow at its natural rate before reintroducing it. When the Professor hid to prepare for the Z'Nox, he reopened Jean's telepathic abilities, which was initially explained by writers as Xavier 'sharing' some of his telepathy with her.
As an alpha-level telepath, Jean Grey can detect and read the thoughts of others, project her own thoughts into other's minds, form psychic links with other beings, control others' minds so as to manipulate their physical functions, mentally stun opponents with bolts of pure psionic force, cast near-flawless mental illusions, and project her mind and the minds of others onto the astral plane.
At close range, she can manipulate almost any number of minds; however, she can only take full possession of another's mind one at a time and can only do so if she is within that being's physical presence.
Jean is also one of the few telepaths skilled enough to communicate with animals (animals with high intelligence, such as dolphins, dogs, and ravens). As a side effect of her telepathy, she has an eidetic memory. Jean was able, through telepathic therapy with the comatose Jessica Jones, to grant Jessica immunity to the Purple Man's mind control abilities, despite his powers being chemical in nature rather than psychic.
When Jean absorbed Psylocke's specialized telepathic powers, her own telepathy was increased to the point that she could physically manifest her telepathy as a psionic firebird whose claws could inflict both physical and mental damage. She briefly developed a psychic shadow form like Psylocke's, with a gold Phoenix emblem over her eye instead of the Crimson Dawn mark possessed by Psylocke.
Jean briefly lost her telekinesis to Psylocke during this exchange, but her telekinetic abilities later came back in full and at a far stronger level than before.[volume & issue needed] It was later stated that Jean has been an Omega Level telepath.
Telekinesis
Jean possesses a high-level of telekinetic ability that enables her to psionically levitate and rapidly move about all manner of animate and inanimate matter. She can use her telekinetic abilities on herself or others to simulate the power of flight or levitation, stimulate molecules to increase friction, create protective force fields out of psychokinetic energy, or project her telekinetic energy as purely concussive force.
The outer limits of her telekinetic power have never been clearly established, though she was capable of lifting approximately fifty tons of rubble with some strain. Jean was later stated to have become an Omega Level Telekinetic.
Psychic Energy Synthesis
Jean's younger self who had been brought from the past into the present by an older Hank McCoy eventually found an entirely new usage of her powers separate from the Phoenix Force. The teenage Marvel Girl learned she has the ability to harness ambient psychic energy and channel it into powerful blasts of force, which are a combination of both her telepathy and telekinesis.
Its potency is such that she can match and overpower the likes of Gladiator, magistrate of the Shi'ar, with relative ease. When using this ability Jean's whole body glows with pink psychic energy, obscuring her human form.
Telekinetic weapons
Under the tutelage of Psylocke, teenage Marvel Girl has learned the ability to create psionic weapons that damage a target either physically, mentally or both in some point. She showed skill in constructing multiple types of psionic weapons that differ in size, length and power which she uses in combat.
Phoenix Force
The relationship between Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force (and the nature of the powers she has) is portrayed in a variety of ways throughout the character's history. In the initial plotline of the Phoenix being a manifestation of Jean's true potential, these powers are considered her own, becoming Earth 616's first cosmic superheroine.
However, since the retcon of the Phoenix as a separate entity from Jean Grey, depictions of these powers vary; these include Jean being one of many hosts to the Phoenix and "borrowing" its "Phoenix powers" during this time, being a unique host to the Phoenix, and being one with the Phoenix.
She is later described as the only one currently able to hold the title of "White Phoenix of the Crown" among the many past, present, and future hosts of the Phoenix. Jean — both young and adult versions — is also the only character ever to force the Phoenix against its own cosmic will to do anything while not presently a host to its powers.
In one instance Jean forcibly ripped the Phoenix out of Emma Frost and imposed its status upon herself. Young Jean was able to keep her psyche anchored in the Phoenix's mind postmortem despite the Phoenix's own efforts to forcibly remove her after it murdered her. Jean then subsequently forced the Phoenix to resurrect her after manipulating the Phoenix's mental landscape against it.
Over the years, Jean's abilities while bonded to the Phoenix Force have fluctuated, but the Women of Marvel: Celebrating Seven Decades Handbook has detailed what Jean is capable of as Phoenix:
While empowered by the Phoenix Force, Grey has total telekinetic control of matter at the molecular level, allowing her to manipulate atomic structures on a universal scale. She can generate any form of energy in seemingly unlimited amounts, as well as absorb energy from sources as great as a supernova or even convert her physical form to pure energy and back again.
She can also exist in virtually any environment without harm and create space/time warps to travel through hyperspace or traverse the timestream, and her telepathic abilities are also vastly enhanced. When using her power, the Phoenix Force will manifest itself around Grey in the form of a bird of cosmic flames, the size of the bird varying with the amount of energy she is using.
These flames can even manifest in seemingly impossible situations, such as the vacuum of space or underwater. This fire apparently does not require oxygen to burn, and burns so intensely that matter is consumed without by-products such as ash. The cosmic fire is a literal punctuation to the Phoenix's purpose to "burn away what doesn't work", as well as being described as "burning through lies and deception". The Phoenix Force can also resurrect the dead under some conditions, and absorb the life force from other sentient beings to bolster its own.
The Phoenix Force also seems to render its host unaging and, at least in some adaptations, enhances the physical strength of its avatar to superhuman levels; in certain incarnations, Jean, namely while acting as Dark Phoenix, seemed to possess some level of superhuman strength.
Resurrection
For one reason or another, Jean Grey (both young and old) has, on more than one occasion, been repeatedly resurrected by either the Phoenix or apparently her sheer force of will. In some depictions, these resurrections are immediately after she or whoever she is reviving is killed, while other depictions indicate that a resurrection must occur at a "correct" time, sometimes taking a century.
During the height of the Psych Wars, Young Jean was able to forcibly make the Phoenix Force restore her to life, despite the Phoenix's adamant resolve not to do so, completely recreating her body after it had been vaporized.
After her body was taken over and completely devoured by a Poison, a small part of Jean's mind survived and, despite itself, was able to infect the whole Poison Hive and destroy it from the inside out, subsequently using nothing but her mind to reconstruct her body. This leaves Jean believing that she may not even be human anymore. This is not the first time Jean was resurrected without the Phoenix; in one instance, she was even able to fully resurrect herself after being clinically dead completely independent of the Phoenix Force.
In their most recent meeting, Jean tells the Phoenix Force that she should have died on the shuttle, and asks it to not resurrect her again.
Miscellaneous abilities
Jean Grey is a trained pilot and proficient unarmed combatant. She also has some degree of teaching ability, experience as a fashion model, and training in psychology.

Urf! While we are most often pleased and, at times, even amazed at the quality of these very small HeroClix figurines, the Jean Grey is not good. The head and face are far too large and that, combined with her expression, makes Jean look like a gargoyle. The paint ops are sloppy as well. Okay, ending complaints now.

Many of the earth elementals have eternal youth and can be quite alluring, choosing to take whatever form they desire. By residing in caves or under lakes and ponds and other subterranean locales, they avoid conflict with humans. Linear time is changed in the realms of the earth elementals. As a result three dimensions do not always exist. Thus, seasonal evolution is made easier for these spirits, allowing them to create positive changes within the environment by eliminating some forms of long-term cellular atrophy.

Name: (?)
Alias: Obscura
Powers: A camera in which he can trap a victim's mind, telepathy, (?)
Weaknesses: (?)
Origin: Not much is know by the mysterious figure known as Obscura. Eyewitness accounts describe him as an average-sized man, dressed in black suit and carrying a camera. Easily the most frightening thing about these reports is Obscura's power: victims recount hearing a spectral voice staying "Smile" upon encountering the man, followed by him taking their picture. Witnesses then describe a freezing sensation, and having their mind "trapped" in the photograph. Most authorities have dismissed the accounts as an elaborate hoax, but the heroes of New Blok City know the dark truth: Obscura is real, and he won't rest until the whole city is caught on camera.
That's all for now! Happy nightmares XD Also, I'd like to give a special thanks to BrickTailor, Andhe, Quickblade22, EvolvedTurtle and FANTXTIK. They were a huge help with developing Obscura's rather shaky backstory. :)
Elementals represent an evolution divergent from that of humans. They are the metaphysical forces behind nature which assist earth’s ecology to function better. Their realms are harmonized into the earth but are not composed of the gross matter that constitutes humans. Because of the different vibrations of their composition, nature spirits can sometimes be seen by humans whose ajna, or third-eye chakra has been enhanced through recitations of specific prayers or mantras. Such mantras increase the harmony of consciousness and telepathy. Elementals are the archetypal spiritual intelligence behind all species. Contact with the plant kingdom is in fact contact with a more universal being.

The activities of elementals are determined in the angelic realms where they are discharged into the earth’s atmosphere. Most of these activities concern climatic conditions. These beings work with both the physical lights involved with photosynthesis and the spiritual lights generated on the angelic plane.
Eeyugh… What happened again? Right, Mr.“my name makes sense now” zapped me. So that's what electrocution feels like. Zero out of ten, would not get shocked again. Wait a second, why am I in a glass cage? Whuh-oh, Shocker must've finally handed me over to his mysterious employer. At least, it won't be a mystery for long.
-Spider-Pip stands up and examines the room-
Hm, whoever it is must’ve been going for a creepy, medieval motif, I swear it looks like Latveria in he--Oh snap. Doom. I am literally in Dr. Doom’s house! I need to get out of here!
-Spider-Pip tries to escape by attacking his cage but is met with another, smaller shock-
Spider-Pip: “Argh! Again, really?”
-Suddenly, a door at the other end of the room opens and out walks the literal personification of intimidation itself...-
Spider-Pip: “Dr. Doom.”
Doom: “You are familiar with me, Spider?”
He’s trying to intimidate me, I can't show any fear.
Spider-Pip: “I'm familiar with the fact that your a big, metal jerk.”
(Seriously though, I'm kinda’ freakin’ out!)
Doom: “Strong words from the one in the cage.”
That is a good point. Still, I need to stay stoic.
Spider-Pip: “What I want to know is how you know who I am?”
Doom: “Simple. Know thine enemy, Spider-Pip. I’m sure you’re familiar with what I’m capable of?”
Spider-Pip: “Let’s see... Telekenisis, teleportation, telepathy, telemarketing. Wait, not that last one.”
Doom: “I’ll have you know that I am not in a gaming mood.”
Spider-Pip: “Why? You just were delivered a superhero. I imagine that's the supervillian version of buying a new phone.”
Doom: “Because, you are of no use to Doom.”
Spider-Pip: “If I’m so useless, then why did you pay Shocker to capture me?”
Doom: “I didn’t, that buffoon mistook me for his overseer, the two having never met.”
Spider-Pip: “Wow, you were sure at the right place at the right time.”
Doom: “...Indeed. Now silence yourself while Doom seeks out a use for you.”
-Doom steps over to a console and begins typing-
Spider-Pip: “Did you just refer to yourself in the third-person?”
Doom: “Doom shall not take criticism from the likes of you.”
Spider-Pip: “Well then, Spider-Pip shall not give criticism to the likes of you.”
Doom: “It is unwise to test me.”
Spider-Pip: “You mean it's unwise to test Doom.”
Doom: “Enough.”
-Doom presses a button on the console and Spider-Pip is zapped unconscious for a third time-
Doom: “Don't say I didn't warn you.”

Quick note for this part and basically all parts going forward, give me a break with the sets. I really don't have a lot of good bricks for building stuff like walls, and it's hard to have sets without those. :P Also, after spending so much time writing I have very little patience for building.
Also, thanks once again for all your great feedback! It's more than helpful and I appreciate it. (As long as it's not about the sets. xP)
Acorns are physical gifts from the elementals and have been given to and used by witches as protection against expulsion from society. They are examples of nature’s amulets which grant indemnity and are believed to protect against assorted maladies.
When passing each other in the woods, witches hand each other acorns to let one another know who they are and that they were safe in one another’s company. As such, they were able to practice their craft under the guardianship of the elementals.
DCU Shazam! - Issue #10
Freddie and I got no sleep that night. We spent the whole time talking quietly about what other superpowers I might have. Maybe I had laser vision? Or invisibility? Or maybe even Spidey-Sense?
We might’ve talked about a superhero name or a costume, but those seemed to have been already handed to us. Shazam, the Superhero! That had a nice ring to it, but I was careful not to say it again in case I transformed again. Before we knew it, we’d been talking all night and had to get ready for school. That might’ve been a mistake.
Yesterday had just been a bit of an introduction day for me. Today, I properly started my classes. Physics was my first class, and luckily I was with Freddie and Eugene for this. They were both in my year, as High School Freshmen, while Pedro and Mary were both Seniors and Darla was still in Middle School. At least that meant I had someone I knew.
Unfortunately, it didn’t keep me out of trouble, as I fell asleep at my desk in Physics and was sent straight to the Principal’s office by Professor Edgewise. Principal Peach let me off with just a warning but I could tell there was only going to be so many strikes with her, so I managed to keep my head off my desk for the rest of the day. Geometry, English, French and Music were all a breeze. I wasn’t necessarily paying attention, but the thought of me and Freddie going to test my powers after school kept me awake.
Where I really got to shine though was Phys. Ed. where we were playing Football. Needless to say, my team won. Coach even said I might make the team in a few years, the Fawcett City Tigers. Anyway, before I knew it, I was back on the bus home with my foster family. All in all, a pretty good day. Better than all of my other school introductions put together.
As soon as Freddie and I got home, we dumped our bags, then ran off out back, into the woods. When we were out of ear-shot of the house and anywhere else, I shouted ‘Shazam!’ at the top of my lungs, and I transformed again.
Freddie Freeman: “That is never going to get old! It’s so cool! Right so, how do you feel?”
Billy Batson: “I feel good, great even. I feel powerful!”
Freddie Freeman: “What sort of powerful? Like, that log over there, could you lift it?”
Billy Batson: “Well I won’t know if I don’t try!”
As I go to run over to the large log, all of a sudden there is lightning crackling all around me and I’m darting through the woods. Hyper-Speed?! It’s so hard to control and all of a sudden I’ve smashed through a tree, exploding it and falling to the floor.
Freddie Freeman: “Billy?!”
I hear Freddie from quite a distance away.
Billy Batson: “I HAVE HYPER SPEED!”
He can’t really hear me so I run back in a matter of seconds.
Freddie Freeman: “Wow! Hyper-Speed!?”
We giggle like the children that we are.
Billy Batson: “Hell yes I have Hyper-Speed!”
Freddie Freeman: “Okay okay, lift the log now! I bet you can!”
Without hesitation, I pick up the log and hold it above my head. It feels as light as a feather.
Then, an instinct tells me to kick myself off the ground, so I do… AND I FLOAT. Freddie almost has an asthma attack from how much he’s breathing.
We continue to test drive my powers until it gets dark. Sad to say that I don’t have Telepathy, or Frost-Breath, or even Spidey-Sense. But Flight, Hyper-Speed and Super Strength isn’t a bad power set for a scrawny foster kid like me.
Here's how to obtain inner peace for genuine seekers of the path.
An excerpt: Inner purification is not related to any religion. In order to recognise God, we must first recognise ourselves. We must recognise who we are and what the purpose of our life is. We must also become aware of our abilities and qualities.
