Built in 1922 to house Portland's now defunct Evening Telegram newspaper. The office building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Головне зі зведення Генштабу: 🔻На Сіверському напрямку окупанти обстріляли з артилерії позицій наших військ у районах населених пунктів Хрінівка та Янжулівка Чернігівської області. 🔻Ворог закріплюється в тимчасово захоплених населених пунктах Сєвєродонецьк, Сиротине, Воронове та Борівське. 🔻На Слов’янському напрямку ЗСУ зупинили спробу ворожого наступу в районі Богородичного та штурм в напрямку Мазанівки. 🔻На Південнобузькому напрямку окупанти обстрілювали позиції наших військ з мінометів, ствольної та реактивної артилерії вздовж лінії зіткнення. Since few households had their own telephone line, people made much greater use of telegrams. Every telegram received in the Leipzig district was simultaneously printed out on this teleprinter at the Stasi offices.
