Probably as close to Tehran as I'm going to get.

Tehran, Iran, February 2007

Jafar Panahi, at his Tehran home,Internationally acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi, slated to serve as a jury member at the Cannes festival, couldn't attend because he was being heldæ in TehranÍs Evin prison. In March 2010, plainclothes security officials raided PanahiÍs Tehran home and arrested him along with his wife, daughter and 15 house guests. Though Iranian authorities shortly released the others, they held on to Panahi, accusing him of ñmaking a film against the regime following the post-election events,Tehran-Iran1/01/2006/Credit:SATYAR/SIPA/1005151254

I brought 3 lenses with me to Iran: 16mm, 23mm and 56mm. The 23mm was constantly on my camera, followed by the 16mm. However, I barely took out the 56mm.

I noticed this while I was in Prague. So I started to make an effort to bring it out.

However, for future travel (and especially if I return to Iran), I will probably leave the 56mm at home. The streets are too narrow and there's too many people to get a clear shot with the 56mm.
