Tehran (Persian: تهران Tehrān pronounced [tʰehˈɾɒːn]), is the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. With a population of 8,429,807;[3] it is also Iran's largest urban area and city, one of the largest cities in Western Asia, and is the 21st largest city in the world.
Boxy, ugly French cars. Also lots of old Peugeot 405s and 206s. Lot of Kia's and Nissan's. No Honda's. They also have their own cars: Iran Khodro and Saipa. The car industry is the second most active industry of the country, after the oil industry.
I think that in most countries in the Middle-East, Africa and Asia, cars are more about reliability and ease of maintenance than about comfort and design.
Milad Tower (Persian: Borj e Milād – برج میلاد), also known as the Tehran Tower (برج تهران – Borj e Tehrān),[3] is a multi-purpose tower in Tehran, Iran. It is the sixth tallest tower[4] and the 17th tallest freestanding structure in the world.[5]
It is located between the Qarb Town and Gisha District, standing at 435 m (1,427 ft) from base to the tip of the antenna.[6] The head consists of a large pod with 12 floors, the roof of which is at 315 m (1,033 ft).
The tower is a part of a complex called International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran. The complex also includes a five-star hotel, a convention center, a world trade center, and an IT park.[
