Tegen de avond werd er 'n keer naar het Gelderse Elst gereden want de omgeleide Nightjet moet hier 'n keer op de plaat worden gezet. Dit ivm werkzaamheden tussen Driebergen-Zeist & Arnhem (NL). Maar wat wil het toeval de vele (23) opgekomen fotografen kregen te horen dat hij defect stond op de BetuweRoute. En daar achter nog 'n paar treinen. Maar wat er gelukkig nog wel passeerde was NIAG 186 142 + SSN 01 1075 + Chartertrein. Vanaf hier naar Emmerich (D) en dan verder Duitsland tot Mönchengladbach

Territorial hummingbirds who favor dense, mossy cloud or elfin forests. They also inhabit forest clearings, forest edges, shrubby pastures, and hedges. When in the forest interior, they spend most of their time foraging low, and they typically feed on nectar by clinging to flowers briefly and holding out their wings in a V position. Tourmaline Sunangels are often seen perching on the outer edges of bushes acting defensively. Males have a violet-blue chin and a magenta lower throat while females have whitish throats with spotting. Picture taken at Manizales, Colombia.

The Swallow-tailed Hummingbird is a large, spectacular denizen of open savanna-like vegetation in the southern and northeastern tropics of South America. It is easily recognizable as a large violet and green hummingbird with an impressive long, deeply forked tail. It is readily seen in defense of dense nectar resources such as those found on flowering trees, but it will also feed on insects in the air. It is divided into five subspecies, four of which occur in the southern disjunct portion of the specie’s range and often intergrade.

Een dagje fotograferen en genieten vanuit een boshut ...
Al tijden klaag ik tegen "Mister LTE" dat die blauwe 186'ers maar niet voor de lens willen komen. Over het algemeen sporen de locomotieven in het donker door Nederland, terwijl de exotische treinen bij LTE meestal voorzien van een zwarte Vectron, kale ELL Vectron of zwarte 189'er als tractie
Op 3 februari 2025 lukte het dan eindelijk weer eens onverwacht toen de Mannheim-shuttle van LTE vanuit de Maasvlakte West bij het RSC passeerde met de 186 942 op kop. De kleurrijke trein zal een paar uur later via Venlo het land verlaten.
Omdat de teleurstelling groot was gisteren met de verloren wedstrijd tegen Oostenrijk en de waardeloze tractie van de Oostenrijkse LTE trein maar een foto uit het archief rond deze tijd maar dan van 10 jaar geleden. Op de fraaie avond van 23 juni 2014 was ook LTE onderweg, dit keer op de Betuweroute. Er werd een poging ondernomen om een fotostek die slechts enkele weken rond de langste dag voor ca. een half uurtje bruikbaar was te proberen. Bij aankomst bleek het gras gelukkig redelijk laag en stond een (niet gefotoshopte!) reiger op zijn avondmaal te loeren toen de wel fraai bestickerde 186238 de fotograaf passeerde met een ketelwagentrein richting de Rotterdamse havens ter hoogte van Sliedrecht.
So um. I was tagged about 5 times. I thinks. Somewhere around there. But here we go.

9. I speak fluent meme.
10. I'm not a big deal on Flickr, but I consider myself one.
11. Although I do paint figures, I think that I like to write the stories more.
12. I prefer Marvel over DC, basically because my dad. He really influenced me into comics, and loved Marvel comics. He wasn't like me though. I'm a nerd, he was normal.
13. As much as I would like to, I don't collect comics.
14. Fav Marvel Character: Kaine or Deadpool, Fav DC Character: Obviously Batman.
15. My favorite character to write for is Kaine. I would love to say Ray, but Kaine just connects with me.
16. This tag has come to a close, so I'll wrap it up with one thing. Captain America on HYDRA? I think it's a new twist I'll enjoy.

My first go with rendering in Stud.io. I Wanted to see if it was better for tech sheet style presentation than compositing photos so I went with a design I have built in real bricks before. I think it looks nice. Was definitely easier to put together.

Tegen 16.30 was het weer de tijd dat er 'n Benelux moest aan komen. Het was NMBS 2842 met 5 NS ICRm rijtuigen + stuurstandrijtuig. Was een totale verrassing
Volgens info is het dus een BDs stuurstand met gereviserde ICRm, Beneluxstam, die 'n proefrit aan het maken waren. De trein is van hieruit dus naar Brussel-Zuid gereden met trein nummer 16501
