The grasshopper is an insect of the suborder Caelifera in the order Orthoptera. To distinguish it from bush crickets or katydids, it is sometimes referred to as the short-horned grasshopper. Species that change colour and behaviour at high population densities are called locusts.

All Jack wanted for Christmas was for his top two teeth to finish erupting. Lucky for him, the first tooth started making it's way through on Dec 19. We've teethed those two puppies in over the last two weeks and now, as of January 3rd, I can happily say they are both halfway through. Whew.
