My friend publishes patterns through her crochet-along Facebook group, and this cute rattle toy was this month (mystery) cal! I really love Babar, so I decided to give him a crown and picked the same kind of green as Babar's jacket for the ring.
The new VivaRail Class 230 DEMUs, converted from former London Underground District Line D78 trains, have not had the smoothest of starts on the Marston Vale Line between Bedford & Bletchley. With the next two trains toward Bletchley cancelled (one due to a fault on the train in front, one due to a lack of crew), 230003 sits in P1a at Bedford awaiting its next duty.

My grandson is 8 months now, it's a total pleasure spending weekdays with him! It was 90 degrees yesterday so he got his bath outside!
Stock and loco issues earlier in the night resulted in the Caledonian Sleeper Lowlander (1M11) being 155 Late at Acton Bridge. Whilst the delay won't have been too welcomed by operators and several of the "guests" it did offer up my first opportunity to capture the Mk5s in full service. GB Railfreight Class 92, 92 018 does the honours in the early morning light.
It's been a rocky introduction for the Mk5s on the Lowlander so far, with various issues causing delays (both en route and for stock arriving into the stations for passengers to board).
She turned 4 months on Aug. 4th. She's teething and she now realizes that this cold thing in her mouth helps with the pain. She really didn't like her teether at first, but we are glad she realizes how good they are now.
The other night we had the pleasure of a visit from our lovely grand-niece. Now that she can crawl, she won't sit still for a portrait. Instead, she charges at the camera, intent on using it as a teething ring! It was kind of funny, she didn't really seem to recognize me till I got out the camera. She's used to me taking lots of pictures of her.
My dear friend Mary dug through the rat droppings again to get me some killer merch from that church thrift store she goes to,they have a free soon-to-be trash box. Only the best for Bryan! One of the items was this cool baby teething ring, with cool pics & great graphics on the package. I tried to take a good pics many diff ways, but once again I got screwed by the plastic. I almost took it out of the package cos it's like a cool looking thing, but so is the package, and anything that can hang on the wall is always good

Hanley's new bus station finally opened on March 26th 2013, this view shows a typical congested scene from the second day of operation as drivers get used to the new compact layout, 27/03/2013.

Thanks for those of your commenting on what I should change. here is the final puppy. This is fully hand painted using various brushes in CS5--they are great, by the way!!! No auto painting in this one at all. I used the original photo as the base and I painted over it in every which way.
I lightened up the background, made the left tooth whiter, made the face and eyes sharper (that was hard since the original picture was quite a blur there...). I find this one so cute!!!
So comments please: is this good enough for me to take it to a veterinarian clinic and display as a piece of art based on which I will take orders????
Your help is MUCH appreciated!!
Thanks!
