Danika found a great teether! She chews on a cold but sour piece of rhubarb! Big surprise...SHE LOVED IT!!!
I like bibs that are easy to put on&remove but can't be removed by your little one.Easy snap button bibs are the best for me provided that the buttons won't easily come off coz bibs with velcro can be taken off by my little boy &snags clothes in the wash
This teething thing has been going on for a while, now. This picture was taken Dec. 10, and she's still at it as of Feb. 23. She has one canine (or "fangly tooth") left, and there are some fierce looking bonesaw molars making their way through her gums in the back.
Right on cue...Bikini is teething.
We found 2 lost teeth last week. (....awwwwww)
She has some pretty big gaps in her mouth right now...but it doesn't seem to be slowing her down chewing on everything !!

I think it was my dog, Torrey that chewed the end of this off when he was a puppy and when he had time between chewing on the cross bar of the dining room chair and eating part of a watch band. My sewing has been a bit off ever since. Torrey was born in 1985.

In a constant search to find something to ease Athena's teething pain, we resorted to a cold apple. She really seems to be giving that apple a work over! After examining the apple later, it seems as though her tooth has broken through her bottom gum.
Getting teeth and cutting down to one nap a day are hard work, for both Cohen and myself. And it seems a few things have taken a back seat as we move through this phase in his development and work on keeping a happy baby and a happy mother.
My usual craft time has been spent quietly without a project to work on since finishing the doll quilt and the shawl - which I am still trying to get some photos of. I have added a few stitches to Cohen's giant granny square, but felt I needed a new little project that I could finish quickly to regain my craft mojo.
I sat down last night with the 'Golden Hands Encyclopedia of Knitting and Crochet', Circa 1972, and browsed the selection of stitches. I started working a fine grey alpaca scarf using single, double and triple crochet with a double fan running through the middle.
I think it will be quite nice to start Winter with a new scarf for myself.
