Marjan Moghadam, DDS, MA, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2002. Following her General Practice Residency at Long Island College Hospital in 2003, she earned her certificate in prosthodontics, as well as a Masters’ degree in psychology. Both serve her well at Stamford Dental Arts. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Marjan Moghadam performs complex dental treatments, involving full mouth rehabilitation with crowns, bridges, implants and dentures. Denture implants are a specialty of hers. She treats children as well as adults. If a busy life is a fulfilled life, Dr. Moghadam is very satisfied. While raising her daughters and practicing her skills to improve her patient’s oral health take up a lot of her time, she’s also a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University’s College of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics. Cleaning
Today was my 6-month checkup at the Dentist. Everything was fine as usual but they need to redo something on one of my upper left molars. Dr. Butler said it can wait until January or so when I have Flexible Spending funds again. Natalie thought it was funny that I did a Selfie in the chair!
I stopped at Best Buy and got a tripod for the big camera and a mount for my iPhone in the car. I made some videos when I got home and transferred them to the computer but didn't have time to review everything before I left to get Julie.
As I was leaving to pick up Julie the UPS guy was about to pull up to our place and deliver the Warmoth VIP body I won in the "Body of Mystery" contest. I met him at the truck and he handed it to me!

Goodbye Ginger
I had a dentist appointment at Noon today. Normally I go home after my dentist appointments but today I didn't. I should have.
Around 3pm Alec called me and said, "Ginger is gone." I didn't know what he meant so I replied, "What do you mean, 'Ginger is gone'? She ran away or something?" "No, I think she died. She is stiff in her bed, her tongue is purple and hanging out, and it doesn't seem like she is breathing." I asked him if he knew where the vet's office was (he did) so I told him to load Ginger in his car and meet me at the vet's office. I sent Julie a text that there is something wrong with Ginger and I was meeting Alec at the vet. She immediately called me and I told her what Alec had told me. She said to go because she had to stay at work. I packed up my things and left work. I got to the "Hospital Curve" on 315 when Julie called me and told me to pick her up so I turned around. We called the Vet on our way to let them know she was coming in and we were pretty sure she was dead. They told us where to go and that they would be ready. We got to the vet before Alec. He had called his Dad to help him get Ginger out of the house; she was 85.5 lbs. Tex ended up carrying Ginger in to the exam room. A vet checked for vitals and confirmed she was gone. Our normal vet came in and talked with us. Tex had left me and Alec in the room with Ginger. Julie didn't want to come in to see her. The vet talked to us and checked Ginger's belly but didn't find anything out of the ordinary. She said some dogs might have an undetected heart arrhythmia and that is probably what got Ginger. Based on how stiff Ginger was she had been dead for quite a while. The vet wend out to the car to talk to Julie and Julie decided to come in and see Ginger. We stood around her for some time. Julie and Alec cried. We decided not to have an autopsy performed. We decided to have her cremated and take the basic tin with the badge of her name on it. Alec wants to build a box for her ashes.
I broke down when we went home and Ginger wasn't waiting at the door to greet me.
She was perfectly fine this morning. Julie shared some of her eggs with Ginger and we left for work like always. She clearly had been on our bed at some time during the day because of the way the covers were messed up like she was trying to plot a spot.
I took the bed Alec found her in to the trash since it was "soiled". We're not sure how long it will be before we deal with the rest of her stuff.
I can't believe she's gone.
