Massive structures of rock hard blue ice stand up 20 meters into the sky on the Pemberton Icecap glacier. This glacier is only a two hour drive from the City of Vancouver and it is probably the most remote place in the entire province. We explored this glacier three days ago by snowmobile and when I saw these huge ice structures I had to photograph them. I shot this photo with nine shots, handheld, and assembled them into this panorama image.
With Macro Mondays' theme 'Souvenirs' being holiday and not sentimental items, I had to pull these teeth from this week's MM.
Pinking sheers. The right hand pair were owned by my Mum and so are pretty old and VERY heavy. The finger grips are much smaller than nowadays too.
I came to do this shot and I had 3 dead batteries from 2 cameras and a dead pad. we made it with my phone

And, to "pay it forward," I have started a blog.
