After trying to go out and shoot some images in my yard to blow off some pent up anxiety and disgust by being artistic, I was only frustrated further by the super low contrast and grey sky's. Nothing was popping even though there was some color peaking through under the snow. It's been snowing here all week and the sun hasn't really been peeking through the clouds. A rarity really here in Colorado. And I didn't really want to get too much snow or water onto or into my Tokina AT-X macro lens, so I took shelter in the garage and started to look around at the things I see out there every day.
I have several bicycles in the garage. They always have cool bits on them...
Shot using a Tokina AT-X 90mm f2.5 Macro lens with a 5mm extension tube.
Except for his disturbingly flattened teeth he looks pretty cute. Then again, in full context he is mind blowing amazing compaired to dogs or well everything when I started in SL over 13 years ago.

Flickr edit only no PS. Editing with Flickr is like having all your tools taken away, one eye poked out and given a broken hammer to edit with sometimes. This was one of those times, but I still liked it.

Massive structures of rock hard blue ice stand up 20 meters into the sky on the Pemberton Icecap glacier. This glacier is only a two hour drive from the City of Vancouver and it is probably the most remote place in the entire province. We explored this glacier three days ago by snowmobile and when I saw these huge ice structures I had to photograph them. I shot this photo with nine shots, handheld, and assembled them into this panorama image.
Long after midnight when the lone wolf howls,
Teeth and darkness down the black road follows.
The wolf in the dark has fed on your soul and slowly swallows.
Nightmares in human minds when the wolf howls.
Created by taking photographs of my dog while he was chasing the hose. Then darkened and vignette were added for the effect.
Happy Halloween

The king of the jungle casually showing its teeth, lying in a green bush in the southern part of the Serengeti National Park (on the border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area), Tanzania, Africa. Such a majestic animal!
