A Program for CIOs and Senior IT Professionals
The IT Summit (formerly the CIO Forum) is an annual program designed for the executive information management of mid-sized to large companies. Our goal for the IT Summit is to introduce the state's IT executives to each other and to present topics and information that will make them more successful. Open to senior IT professionals and CIOs, this event is not for IT Services vendors.

This Digital Mission to China (4-11 April 2014) brought together the UK’s leading ‘makers’ - creative technologists and entrepreneurs combining 3D printing, Internet of Things, open source software and crowdfunding to revolutionise manufacturing - on a specially designed week-long trip centered around the Shenzhen Maker Faire and Hong Kong.
The British delegation brought together representatives of innovatives hardware startups from the very earliest stage startups to established businesses.
The mission is organised by trade mission specialists Chinwag and supported by UK Trade & Investment.

The annual BCFT (British Columbia Food Technologist) Suppliers Night was held at the Coast Hotel and Convention Center in Langley, BC.
The event was a success, with a number of students, consultants, suppliers, and industry representatives present.

Chris Fabian is a technologist and mobile
designer, who runs UNICEFs Innovation Unit. In this insightful talk he describes using technology and innovation both in poor areas, but also how technology used in disaster areas often are faced with different limitations than we account for. How do we get around the limitations, and how do the local people contribute to create modern solutions that solve issues a modern and well-funded new-York based company cannot?
Christopher Fabian co-created and has co-lead UNICEF’s Innovation Unit in New York since 2007. Christopher believes that technology is not the end-product of innovation, but a principal driver of new ways of thinking about development problems.

Dame Shirley was a pioneer in the early IT industry founding F1 (now Xansa). She used the name 'Steve' in what was than a male dominated industry. In retirment she donated much of her wealth to good causes including the Company of Information Technologists.

The Michigan Society of Radiologic Technologists named WSU Applebaum Radiation Therapy Technology Program Director Jeannetta Greer Educator of the Year during their 68th Annual Meeting and Education Conference in Bay City on September 27-29. The MSRT also awarded WSU Applebaum RTT senior Anna Ganey a scholarship, and seniors Zach Adkins and Taylor Makowicki won awards for their scientific essays.
