Somewhat inspired by the tastefully dark "Vampire Hunter D (1985)", this figbarf melds together medieval fantasy and a subtle (looking at you, Nexo) influence of "tech", with some of the older and less commonly used Lego pieces in the mix. L to R, around 3962 AD or so:
1. A man-machine abomination - many tried welding man and machine together, but none succeeded. The few surviving examples are no more than ghastly automatons, flesh long overtaken by machine, roaming the ruins of the old world.
2. A green phantasmoslug hiding behind a fire altar, an enigmatic creature that feeds on small organic prey by enveloping and dissolving them.
3. Kaa'na, the horned bloodthirsty queen who used to command a fearsome army. Together they divided and conquered the entire continent, but as with all things, after several decades of pillaging the queen's food source dried up and she eventually turned on her own soldiers, consuming them one by one until none remained.
4. The current general of the queen's army is, much like every soldier under his command, a steel contraption. Soulless, nameless machines forever replaced humans and are now being sent far and wide to bring whatever flesh they can find for the queen to feast on.
5. Elvana is a resistance fighter belonging to a small group of dissidents - some of them former queen's soldiers - who are struggling to survive in the lands of the old world. She is said to be of half-elven blood, which may hint at why the queen has not succeeded in tracking and capturing her despite all efforts.
6. Kestrel, Elvana's companion and protector. Commissioned by her great-grandfather, he has been a part of the family for many decades.
That's all for today! And as mentioned before, if you happen to be from the future and find this portrayal untruthful, then by all means please do correct me.

Shifting paradigms ...."yesteryear's" camera and Nikon's recent D750 side by side. In the era of film cameras, the image from the camera was only as good as the lens attached to it so in reality you could get the same image from an entry model as you would with the pro model providing same lens used ...not quite so today as image sensors differ as far as size and megapixels from model to model. You start to appreciate today's current technology when you try using film cameras like the Zenit EM. Today I loaded a 36 Exp Roll of 400 ASA which cost about $17 and I am curious to see what I get. Just like days long gone by I will have to shoot the 36 pics, rewind it back into the cassette and take it in for processing and prints. I will then scan and upload a pic or 2. Hope I dont end up with egg on my face.

UPDATE: Test Print Release 1
• Here she is folks! Hot off the presses, first test prints are back!
• We are very happy with the final product and I'm sure our buyers will be as well.
• A few housekeeping notes:
• We were not 100% satisfied with some of the printing on all of the legs we ordered (specifically alignment of the side legs on some of the prints) -- those are going back to be reprinted
• We have enough cleanly printed figs to begin shipping out shortly
• Shipments will be made strictly on a "FIFO" first paid, first sent basis for all shipments -- no exceptions.
• We expect all re-printed parts to be back and all figs to be sent to all buyers of this initial run to be completed within the next 2 weeks latest.
• Lastly, thank you for your patronage and support!!
• We've got another very small run on another figure coming up very shortly -- its a simpler design, but I think you guys will like this one as well -- keep posted!!!
THANK YOU!
