Out of my entire photostream which would be the most suitable (and likely to raise the most)...any ideas?..your help would be greatly appreciated for this worthy cause.. MJ.

I was on my way back from the Old City of Jerusalem, where I took photos of the Muslim, traditional, pilgrims that came to say the Friday Ramadan prayer, at the Haram al-Sharif (The Temple Mount). After a few hundred meters, I found myself in the middle of an 'opening the summer', techno, loud, rave, street party, that took place at the center of the town. The music was so loud, that you felt the bass vibrations in the ground. The place was extremely crowded, and the exploding hormones filled the air.
I am not sure in which of those two locations I was more 'an outsider'…
(b.t.w., the Ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods are only a few hundred meters from the two places, in another direction, orientation)
p.s.
Though I did not exchange even a single word with the girl, I am willing to hypothesize that her mental state is not the most solid one, and not the (transient) cigarette is the cause to it. She is a great dancer, though…

The also ran from last nights tunnel collab with Chris T up int thills. This one took me ages to align (thanks Chris for your patience). In hindsight I should have done a mid exposure lens swap after exposing the pcb as I think exposing the tunnel/silhouette would have looked much better at 11mm on the Tokina. Hey ho. Great excuse to get back here again.

La Techno Box, comme dans « j’ai cours de techno » (et pas comme la musique de club !) Vous allez voir qu’il y a quand même un lien (ténu) avec la musique, ou plus exactement avec le son. Cette expérience a été réalisée par des étudiants qui l’ont nommée TetrISS (je ne me prononce pas sur le nom [emoji]). Elle doit servir à visualiser les figures de Chladni en 3 dimensions. Vous avez peut-être déjà vu ces formes provoquées par des ultrasons, mais sur Terre à cause de la pesanteur c’est toujours en 2 dimensions. L’objectif ici c’est de profiter de l’impesanteur pour les observer en 3D. Pas grand chose de musical là dedans, c’est surtout des maths, mais sait-on jamais, ça pourrait inspirer des artistes !

At school in France technology is often shortened to techno. We call techno music, tek, but the variations of how Europeans call electronic music and their subgenres is another story. What does Techno box do? It should allow students to visualise Chladni forms in three dimensions using sound waves. Which actually brings us back to music. 🤔 When sounds waves interact with objects they can arrange them in a visual form (think sound waves), search for it... but only in weightlessness can we attempt to make three dimensional forms! The sound waves needed are not music (unfortunately) but mathematical wave forms. The French name for this experiment is TetrISS, do I have to explain that it was a legendary videogame?... 😂
