Chicago & North Western C44-9W No. 8727 leads an 89-car Provo, Utah to Yermo, California manifest from the siding to the main at Ute, Nevada (east of Las Vegas) the afternoon of Oct. 8, 1995.
Captured this little guy while walking through a country path. After capturing beautiful flowers, I wasn't sure I liked the look of this unsavoury character.
Best Shot 2015. This was at the Monterey Bay Aquarium while I was on my honeymoon visiting the sites along the Pacific Coast Highway. This is my earliest "good" photo (Explored in 2023 as part of an Explore Theme).

Berghain is the most well-known club in Berlin - and also one of the worldwide most famous clubs. It’s the church of Techno with the best sound system you can get. So be prepared to dance for hours and listen to top quality music. Inside this abandoned power plant you’ll find two different clubs: Berghain and Panorama Bar, which are separated by a set of stairs. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates good techno music, you’ll feel like you’re in paradise once you step inside Berghain. Their line up is always impeccable and you’ll probably listen to the best DJ's blasting their best tunes out loud, every weekend, from Friday 'til Monday morning. Inside Panorama Bar, you’ll find a more cheerful atmosphere, where they usually play all variations of house music. It’s the perfect place to have a drink, calm down and then go back to Berghain.

The next adventure was a return to the North of Wales. Having not-exactly achieved what I wanted last time, we tried some of the same spots along with some new ones.
After a long, dark and winding drive to Harlech, we found ourselves walking through the cold, deserted streets. Having done my usual extensive googling beforehand, I knew that this view was probably the best around. That knowledge didn't help us when I got us lost. Twice.
The garish orange street lights mixed the blue ones along with the dark night really made me think of those futuristic, miserable cities in sci-fi films.
But man, did I have trouble trying to make up for the awful lights in post. I don't usually do much more than sharpening and toning down awful orange lights, but this scene was a mess. I'm still not happy with it now, but I really don't want to muck the original up in Photoshop. Not a fan of that.
