Taken sometime after midnight today... KVH at the TTN wrap party, with "The Professor".

And... Techy_Girl tagged me to write 8 quirky things about myself, and then tag 8 more people. This is a pretty quirky picture, so it's a good place to start!

1. I have an obsession with paper. I own so much paper, it often explodes into a pretty patterned disaster in my craft room. But it makes me so happy.

2. A lot of things in my life have come "full circle" - For instance, I just uploaded a picture of Jeremy Taggart and I on the TTN set. This is one of those full circle moments because when I was 15, he was one of my biggest idols - the drummer in Our Lady Peace. When I was 17, he gave me a few drum lessons, and I couldn't believe it was happening. Now, I'm 27... and he appeared on a show I worked on. And I'm currently listening to 4am by OLP. LOL.

3. I can't drink coffee after 2pm, otherwise I won't sleep. Other forms of caffeine don't seem to affect me (I can have tea before bed and still sleep), but if I have a cup of coffee... even if I don't feel it giving me a "kick" during the day, I will find myself tossing and turning at 3am, wondering WTF.

4. I love Disney. Especially Tinker Bell (our personalities are very similar). And if I could make a career of being a Disney Princess, I would be. I have been referred to by various people as "princess", "pixie", "fairy", and other similar words throughout my life :)

5. My taste in music has evolved to a very weird & random collection. see?

6. I'm friends or acquaintances with all my exes except one. He's the only person in the world that I couldn't care less if I ever saw again.

7. Ever since I was a kid, I've always made up little stories/"short films" in my head to lull myself to sleep. Sometimes, I'll be completely out within 5 minutes, other times, I'll just have my little movies going on in my head all night, and realize that I'm still thinking about the same thing in the morning.

8. I don't think I would be happy doing a "normal" job. Even though my line of work is pretty unstable, I can't imagine doing anything else, at this point in my life.

After seeing Techy Girl's picture of her books, I decided I should take one of my own.

This stack makes up about half of the books I've bought or received as gifts over the last ten years or so. Most of the newer ones are in this picture. I've started six of these, and am currently reading I Am Ozzy, which I recommend! I got the Johnny Cash book for Christmas of 2003, and got the Ozzy book about a week ago. South Park and Philosophy belongs to a friend of mine.

Eventually I'll read all of them!

Another that looks like a woman's figure. I also feel that it could possible resemble a rose or flower and the petals have blown away in the wind.

Let me know what you see when you look at this.

Zulu Park Jam in Cal Anderson Park, in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.

From capitolhillseattle.com: The Park Jam has been a bedrock tradition of Hip Hop since its early days. It is one that helped shape and coalesce the four elements of DJing, breakdancing, emceeing, and graffiti art. This summer, 206 Zulu is proud to continue this tradition and invite our neighbors and community to participate and experience a fun, family-friendly coming together of dynamic local Hip Hop forces at three different parks.
