I am actually half way trough a turn in this photo even if I do look a little static.
Its been a good week for my ego boosting and it all seems to stem from last Sunday at dance class. The normal format is we do an hour long basic lesson to teach the new started the basics, we partner up and ten the ladies rotate around so as they can damce with a different leader. I happened to have one new starter end up with me so i did what i normally do and took it slow, she then moved on to the next partner along. we then have a break this is when we can dance with our own partners or whoever we fancy dragging ontot the dancefloor. well i had a couple dances with jamie then had a rest. it was then that the new lady came over to me and said i was the best leader to dance with. well that made me smile, the next part of the lesson is more for those who know what we are doing but the two new girls stayed. seeing that they had no chance i took them to one side and gave them a one to one lesson.well the evening finished with me having a few spins on the dance floor and we all went home.
during wednesdays lessen sharon the teacher said how much the two ladies enjoyed my lesson :-) then shortly after another woman who is a friend of the two girls came over to say that they keep raving on about how much they enjoyed my lesson and loved me to bits.
OK i know this all sound a bit "Look how wonderful i am" but in all truth its rather weired because i never set out for this to turnout this way and to become so accepted by almost everyone i meet . So yep i am walking around with the biggest head ever at the moment and i am so proud of the people around me who accept our kind and the people within our community who have supported, encouraged and inspired me over the years to becomem who i am

Today was Teacher Appreciation Day at my daughter's school, so each of her teachers got a bag of apples tied with green and white gingham ribbon.
India Celebrates Teachers' Day today(Sept-5) every year which also commemorates the birthday of Shri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India . He was also a famous teacher,philosopher and a statesman.
Dedicate this photograph to my dearest father(Rtd Prof) and to all the teachers who inspire innumerable souls each moment..each day...! Salutations to you dear teachers!

The Exploring Earth Science Teacher Workshop 2017 took place over August 2nd and 3rd. Participating teachers spent two days in Shenandoah National Park learning and participating in activities around the theme "Shenandoah Salamander: Climate Change Casualty or Survivor."
This program is supported by a generous donation from the Shenandoah National Park Association and the Shenandoah National Park Trust.

Now with all most all the girls on the school ground its time for the Teachers to gather together and discuss the best way to make sure the little darling get the most out of their time at Magical School for Girls.
I was thinking we need to keep the class size as small as we can so we can make sure ever little girl gits all the attention they need," Shinku Explained hoping that her new way handling the Students would be liked.
"What do you have in mind my dear girl," asked Ala knowing that Shinku might be in charge but still only seeing her as a little girl.
" I was thinking each of us takes 2 of the girls with us and teaches them in our own Specialty Magic and we have them work together to learn there training with each of the different teachers. Seeing as we are all masters of a field of magic this would work better to make sure the learned each field of study from the strongest we have to offer," Explained Shinku seeing this as the best method for molding the little darlings in to magical young ladies.
"That is a Pretty good plan but were is Elisabeth and Jaldet don't they need to be here?" asked Capt.Roberts wandering why the others wore missing.
"Oh I had Elisabeth Run and Pick up 2 of the girls and she is not a Teacher I was thinking she could be the School Nurse... but now that you Mention it were is this Jaldet I have herd about?" asked Ala looking around.
"... well... Kind of not worried about her Cause she talks to me funny," Replied Shinku she had send word to Jaldet but she was not sad to see she did not make it to the meeting.
"What do you mean dear," asked Ala in a motherly tone seeing something had been troubling the young lady.
"well.. she said she wanted to make... a Woman out of me, But I am so confused I am 19 so I am all ready a Woman!," Explained Shinku feeling a little Shy about what had happened.
"She means she Wishes to take your flower my dear girl," Capt. Roberts Explained Just now noticing that Shinku was still pretty Innocent to the world of Love or Lust.
"... If that she all she wants than she can have my flower! I mean I got lots of them any was what color do you think she would like," asked Shinku in a rather Happy voice now that she thought she Understood.
"Capt. Roberts dear can you go pick up the last girl I think I need to have a little girl talk with Shinku," Ala Asked seeing that Shinku was still very much a child her self.
Will Ala's Motherly Help Shinku understand?
Will Shinku freak out win she learns what Jaldet wanted from her?
Or will our Little darling Head of the Magical School For Girls try to just pretend to be a Woman so Jaldet will leave her be?

There was no actual requirement just a budget so i did the same cookie sets for all three and coordinated the colours with some ribbons that i found for a bright and funky look. vanilla cookies covered in fondant, boxed with coordinating tissue and ribbon

Portuguese teachers have been on strike since 9th December. The government invented "Minimal services" which prevent us from protesting and striking, so we do demonstrations on weekends, ends of days... In various places, around the country. Especially in bridges, which connect people. On the 22nd we'll be near the airport, another kind of bridge.
These are the cupcakes that I made for my daughter's preschool teachers as year end gifts. Thank you to Amanda (bassettsfarm) for giving me the idea of making cupcakes for the teachers. In total I made 12 cupcakes (4 each for each teacher). The purple cupcakes are lemon and the pink cupcakes are strawberry cupcakes.
I really wanted to do something special for the teachers as they were all so wonderful and caring. My daughter really loved her preschool experience and we were both really sad when school ended.
