Doodling ideas of integration and building ideas from the ground up. This was also one of those days when making an exhaustive list in the journal seemed critical.

Our GEM Apprentices were tasked with producing a series of designs using Yorkshire dialect phrases, to be printed onto t-shirts for the ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ event. The Penistone based company, Yorkshire Clobber were overwhelmed by the success of their products that they have now branched out to supply apparel such as hoodies, neck warmers and sweat shirts. GEM was asked to produce new graphics for their additional range.

Terribly gay signature for Taskism to use on ClubSi.com... Not even sure how this got here. Jesus.

Photography Scavenger hunt... Topics, extra points and rules. Loads of fun

I love white daffodils, and the yellow centers on these really help bring home the visual. Will definitely use the double stab stitch again in the future. Next time maybe I'll be bold enough to pull them just a *little* bit tighter, as the last 2 (shorter ones) look better than the first three.

it took a lot of work to tick off this many of them

Status: Started / Ongoing - Because of the strange weather, I started doing Turbo Jam / Turbo Fire with Karen a week or so prior to the start of my vacation. Yesterday, because the weather was more agreeable / cooler, I started running (again!) as a form of interval training.

So far, so good, though I realized that a year ago I was running regularly with about 8 pounds less. No wonder my legs started complaining on kilometer 3 of my run last night.

ARTA, Djibouti (August 14, 2012) - Task Force Raptor Soldiers participate in the third Spur Ride held in the Horn of Africa. The spur ride is a cavalry tradition in which a trooper must pass a series of tests that evaluate physical, leadership, technical and tactical proficiency in a high stress environment in order to earn his spurs and become a member of the Order of the Spur. Task Force Raptor is deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Johathan Towles).
