ARTA, Djibouti (August 15, 2012) - Task Force Raptor Soldiers participate in the third Spur Ride held in the Horn of Africa. The spur ride is a cavalry tradition in which a trooper must pass a series of tests that evaluate physical, leadership, technical and tactical proficiency in a high stress environment in order to earn his spurs and become a member of the Order of the Spur. Task Force Raptor is deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. (U.S. Army photo by Cpl. Candy Hatch).

I was impressed with how fast this orange bot - the only one still demonstrating at this hour - was tooling around. It had the speed and maneuverability more typical of a small Tyco RC car.
